Peter King and I agree with you on this one. TO is allowed to push within 5 yards. The Bell penalities were accurate. The Wilfork penalty was a joke and if that had been Stroud called for it you would have thrown your Wi through the TV.

He played an underneath coverage technigue on both plays with no safety help over the top. His only help in that situation is the end-line. He needed to interrupt the TE's release and stay in front of him - not let him run past him. You play underneath technigue only with safety help. Maybe he was supposed to have help but the safeties weren't even in the same zip code. He is awful. Derrick Brooks may be slower but he see's that play coming and defends it better IMO. I due have to give Brady credit for the second throw. It was a beautiful back shoulder (as correctly pointed out by MNF) throw that the BIlls have been unable to teach or try with Trent. The first throw was a basic High School tight end dump throw that is picked with tighter coverage.

The Evans non-call was borderline. The Wilfork penalty was total BS. They go the Witner call correct - you could see he dipped his head. They called spearing not unecessary roughness.

Did I miss something? Did a WR get hurt? I know Jenkins got cut but were was Steve Johnson? Did he dress? Where was that magical third down reciever Josh Reed when Evans and TO were doubled covered? Why can't Parish learn to run a route? Last rant... 1st and 10 with 37 sec, how well does a screen work there????? They rush four and drop a ton of DB's... If Jackson or better yet Parish catches a screen it is twenty yards easy... No guarnatee they rush more than three but they did on the pevious play to TO and again on thisplay that resulted in the sack....

Nothing special. IMO he needs to rush from the OLB position outside Denney or Schobel's shoulder.

This is how I see the importance of winning individual games. It is based on the thought that not all games are created equal. Some games I see as must wins like the Browns, the Bucs, and KC which the Bills need to win to have any chance, and obviously you can see the Division and Conference(tie-breakers) games rate high. I think if the Bills can hold serve at home in a number of winnable games, the season will be a success if they can get a few key road games. I rate the opener so low for several reasons. First I think we will lose, second it is on the road, and third there are 15 games left to recover from an 0-1 start. The PLAN was that Walker was going to be fine at LT so we didn't need to draft a LT. DJ admitted they misjudged Walker's ability to play LT. If Bell was going to be the LT they could have left Walker at RT, Butler at RG and Wood would be at LG. IMO that should have been the plan as I still very much like the Maybin/Wood picks. Cutting the expected LT one week before the season starts was not the plan and my guess would be characterized as ludicrous by every other team in the NFL not in Oakland.

As opposed to the young two time Pro Bowlers which have no place on this team. How do you reconcile the TO signing with your "good guy" theory?
