  1. Didn't you read any blogs this Spring? This whole mess is Jason Peters fault for asking to be paid like a pro-bowl LT.
  2. What marketing? So he played here a few years. Big frickin deal. He wasn't that good of a LB and he is not a good coach even Katrina not withstanding.
  3. Excellent point. Too bad Lebeau wasn't ten years younger or he would get another head coaching job.
  4. Yes I know Willis was gone by the time the Bills picked but even though they let Fletcher go he still said on draft day he wasn't interested in Willis. Know who wasn't interested in Poz? Belichick.
  5. Says who... Marv Levy is to blame for most of the problems on this team. He actually did the amazing and turned out to be worse than Donahoe. Anyone catch what Patrick Willis did this weekend??? "Talent without character" Marv said he wasn't interested in Willis at the time. He is solely responsible for the o-line situation. He is the one who overpaid for all those FA lineman that sucked and pissed off our Pro-Bowl LT. He is responsible for Jauron. He was talked into drafting Edwards by a cancer ridden, former genius Bill Walsh with chemo brain. He is responsible for Josh Reed, Ryan Denney, and Chris Kelsay being so overpaid it limits what tightwad Wilson will spend on back-ups. And I'll say it.... He doesn't belong in the Hall of Fame. Bill Polian does. Levy was outwitted by true masterminds, Parcells, Belichick, Gibbs, and Johnson.
  6. Remember Bill Clinton' line "It's the economy stupid" It's the line. End of story. You can't make any decision about the QB, the WR's, the RB's, or even AVP with the makeshift o-line that was trotted out there Sunday. Don't get me wrong I think AVP has been outcoached the last two weeks and want him gone with DJ ASAP but there is no way to know. Bring in Gruden and let him call the plays.
  7. Now that all hope is officially lost here is the plan: 1. Trade TO to a contender for anything 2. Sign Walker, Runyan, or Levi Jones before Trent is killed. 3. Trent has to play the rest of the year so we can find out if he can play(I know for some this is already a no but I am not giving up the next three years to developng yet another QB without knowing for sure if Trent can play) 4. Fire Modrak and Jauron 5. If Schottenheimer will come give the job to him 6. If not Schott then let Fewell coach the rest of the way. 7. Give the keys to the kingdom as stated on another post to Gruden, Holmgren, Shanahan, or Cowher 8. Brandon can stay as a GM because he must be a frickin genius to have gotten 50+ thousand people to but season tickets for this mess. Just let him have no say on personnell. Then on Tuesday you all fill in the rest...
  8. First you need to build a time machine so they could sign Levi Jones before the Saints game. It's over. Might as well let Scott and Bell finish the year to see what they can do.
  9. That would be sensible therefore unacceptable at OBD. Remember Peters is the anti-Christ for wanting more money.
  10. How can anyone know with the revolving door of an o-line??? When the line was healthy he played well. Blame the front office for not signing any vets when Butler went down. I am not sold on him yet as the real deal or a bust. Only can hope he turns it around as the line gets better. If not kiss the playoffs good bye for another three years while Colt McCoy learns the NFL is alot harder than the Big 12.
  11. When the offenssive line isn't the youngest in league history and the OC has more than three games as an OC.
  12. Big loss? He has been inactive 2 out of 3 games. He plays DE not DT. Wonder if we might see some 3-4 Sunday. I have generally been against it and not sure we have 4 LB's that can play but if Williams can't go at DT there is no way Stroud and Johnson will hold up in the heat. Really need Beast Mode this week to chew up the clock.
  13. If memory serves the Bills did just about the same thing to the Colts as the Ssaints did to the Bills. The Bills played two deep, didn't give up the big play, forced Manning to throw it underneath and a team with JP Losman at QB almost won that game. Not to say you are wrong that the offense need to make plays. Larry Fitzgerald still makes plays. Moss still makes plays. Hell TO is biiger than almost every CB out there. Let him fight for the ball or draw a penalty.
  14. Retarded = Occurring or developing later than desired or expected; delayed
  15. Agreed. I forgot about the penalties. Thanx for the reminder. Your comment about the shotgun is dead on. I can't recall a single draw play being called. If they hit them with a 20 yard run on 2 and 8 against one of their blitzes it may have slowed the rush down a bit.
  16. Maybe the Bills young and banged up o-line can catch a break.... Still don't understand why Levi Jones has not been given a look? Nobobdy else has signed him either but he's got to be an upgrade over Chambers/Scott.
  17. Read Peter King's article. The Saints played 6 DB on 25 plays. AVP didn't adjust. Trent should have hit the long one to TO and he has noone to blame but himself for that. But a big part of the blame seems to need to go to AVP for not calling more screens, draws, and simple runs against the smaller DB's. Agree with the other post above though. The short passes Trent does throw are curls with little chance for YAC. As has been brought up before need more slant/seam routes. Nelson might give you that where (insert name of any slow white TE on the team here) will not. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writ...tml?eref=sihpT1
  18. The details were however in the Peter King comment about how often the Saints played 6 DB's. Maybe Trent is right and they are taking TO and Lee out of the game. Maybe AVP was right in blaming himself for not making adjustments. The adjustments he was referring to was probably not running the ball more. Same mistake we made in the SB against the Giants. Hopefully Miami plays the same D and Beast mode goes wild. Maybe us fans don't know anything and DJ and Trent know a lot more than we do. Sucks to admit it but Trent check downs were probably the right thing to do on the passing plays that were called. The TO effect seems to be working on the other teams D strategy. Now Buffalo needs to take advantage. Turn Marshawn and Jackson into Thomas and Riddick. The passing game will come along when they fear our run game.
  19. I in fact have read the Bible and have read history books. Christians very rarely act like Christ is supposed to have acted.
  20. Dungy was not the GM. He did not draft Sapp or Derrick Thomas. He wasn't even the D-coordinator. Let's say you are right and he did build that team. He never could build an offense to go with the D.
  21. Read what Warren Sapp has said. TB would never have won with Dungy as coach.
