The Bills will be paying for the trade of Peters for the next 2-4 years. We have a journeyman center, two rookies guards playing new postions, and two tackles playing out of position. If they know something about Peters we don't then fine, but this current situation is the best they could do? No LT in the first round, no Levi Jones signing as a FA, drafting another DB in the second round when there were still LT's available. Bell had better develop quickly.....

What team are you watching? I am not sure 1/2 our startes would even make the Steelers squad. The saddest part is our rookie guard may be the best talent on offense. Lynch, Stroud, Evans, McKelvin, Mcgee, Owens, and Wood are the only guys that would even make the Patriot's roster. How long do you think Belichik would have a non-productive safety like Whitner on his team let alone Ellison.

What would your key to winning be? Is going into the season with an o-line with 5 new players/postiions high on the list?. By not keeping him, it has set of a chain of events that will take 2-3 seasons to recover from.

There is no hope in Buffalo. I know Miami, Atlanta, and Arizona fooled everyone last year and every year some team comes out of nowhere. But honestly can anyone point to anything that would give us hope? Right now Oakland, Detroit, Kansas City, Tampa Bay and Cincinnati could be in the arguement with Buffalo as worst NFL franchises. That being said Oakland has a decent defense with best DB in the NFL and good backfield/TE. Kansas City has a good core of young defenders and possibly a decent QB/WR combination. Cincinnati has a decent o-line and pro-bowl caliber QB. That leaves Tampa Bay, Buffalo and Detroit. What makes us worse? They have already hit bottom and are starting over with new personnel and coaches. We have to suffer another year of this before we can bottom out.

Instead of paying him why don't we trade him to a winning franchise like Baltimore or Philadelphia for an unproven draft pick. Or better yet why don't we use the money saved to give Josh Reed a raise.

The Bills personnel would be awful for the 3-4 not that it is that good for a 4-3. Stroud is too small (he is taller than he is wide) for NT and not fast enough to play end in the 3-4(maybe he could have played DE over the RT when he was younger). Williams has no place in either system(but he has a high motor). Of course Kelsay and Denney suck. Schobel would need to move to OLB like Jason Taylor did yet he is not fast enough to play OLB anymore. We barely have two NFL capable LB's in Poz and Mitchell. That would leave us two short. DJ and Fewell can't coach the 4-3 so it wouldn't matter if they can't coach the 3-4. So other than that the switch would be a great idea.

When Orakpo doesn't suck like every other Texas FB player this decade. He will be soft like all the other ones. After 6 weeks of getting pounded by NFL caliber tackles he will be a shell of his current self. Honestly except Oklahoma when does Texas play any team with any talent? Agreed. If DJ goes you have to eventually cast out the whole lot. I do think however that a proven coach like Marty could have an immediate impact before it is too late.

Yes he should have made it before Art MOnk and Michael Irvin but that is not reality. Now he has to make it in while being compared to these guys. Like it or not that is how it works. I think he has a better shot than Tim Brown but there is no way Rice doesn't get in first crack. Then it is between Reed and Carter. I can't see them making Carter wait another year. With all the Bills players that are already in, unfortuantely Reed is going to have to wait.

First of all he is too overrated and popular to come to Buffalo. He will go to Carolina or SanDiego. Second of all he is too over rated to want him. Gruden will come and he can get it done.

Wouldn't Derrick Brooks even at his age be an upgrade over Ellison? Wouldn't the experience help Poz? Tim Graham joked he looks like a DB. Levi Jones is still unsigned. Why not bring this guy in before Walker and Butler get Trent killed.

Kelsay wil be the surprise cut at DE. They will line up Denney on first and second down and bringin Maybin on 3rd. Ellis and Bryan will be the backups. Mcintyre will be cut if they keep 4 TE. He may be cut even if they only keep 3. Fine may be the odd suprise TE cut. He was a reach in the draft. Wendling had better be cut. Oh if only there was a way to cut Ellison but none of the back-up LB's have shown anything.
