Cowher's defense in Pittsburgh were Dick Lebeau's defenses. He even turned Buffalo's D into a fearsome bunch. Lebeau should be in the HOF as a player and a coordinator. If he were younger he probably would have been given another head coaching shot.

In the SB years the teams were full of veterans that knew how to win. With the exception of TO there are no veterans with any winning experience. Please tell me you are not worried with their performance to date, a revamped o-line that may have been more credibly put together by a schyzophrenic, and and a defense that actually starts Keith Ellison at LB.

I agree his history would argue against a coaching change but it could get ugly quick. Also I think Marty Schottenheimer being available makes it a bit more plausible.

In my wet dreams it would be this week but I am going for after week three. I figure a blowout loss to NE, a bothced time-out or 4th down call against TB, and another blowout against NO should just about do it.

Schobel's contract was for 50.5million over 7 years with 20 million guaranteed. That is quite a bit more than Maybin got. In fact the contracts the Bills gave to Schobel, Kelsay, and Denney, which all exceeded the fair market value, probably enboldened Maybin's agent to hold out as long as he did.

Using the better players they have on their team. Name one player on our starting D that would start over one of their players? Maybe Mcgee. That's it. With regard to the O the story is the same. Maybe Evans and TO are interchangeable with Moss and Welker. Maybe beast mode is better than Maroney when he isn't smoking the tree. That's it folks.... They draft later every year but are better at almost every postion. Who do you blame????
