WITH THE FIRST PICK IN THE 2012 NFL DRAFT....THE BUFFALO BILLS SELECT ANDREW LUCK QB STANFORD.
that sneaky buddy just made a splash.....or maybe you prefer a ripple.....
A league source tells PFT that QB Tyler Thigpen agreed to a three-year deal with Buffalo. The Vikings were also involved in heavy discussions with Thigpen, but ultimately the former seventh-round pick of the Vikings chose the Bills instead.
Thigpen was highly productive in Kansas City under Gailey despite an unstable situation around him. (He threw 18 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 2008 and made some incredible plays with his feet.)

teams are allowed to contact veteran free agents and come to an agreement/understanding....they are NOT allowed to sign contracts until friday at 6pm.
teams can sign contracts with their own free agents and undrafted free agents now.
why is this happening ? why not ALL the teams on wednesday ?.....sounds like they are going to ask the teams they feel more likely will vote YES, to vote first, delaying and rendering the few "no" votes meaningless.
"When the executive committee accepts the new CBA, players from certain teams will be granted permission to report to training camps Wednesday and players from other teams will be asked to report to training camps Friday, a source said. The hope from both sides is there are enough votes to recertify the union by as early as Friday."
The NFL's players association and owners groups have reached agreement on the remaining points needed in their 10-year labor deal, sources from both sides said.

at some point you need to add an "impact" player......Nnamdi Asomugha is that kind of player.....i think he's worth $15 mil/year. i think terrence mcgee is no longer a viable option.
my guess:
#1- President – Ralph Wilson
#2- CEO – Russ Brandon
#3- Executive Vice President/General Manager – Buddy Nix
#4- Senior Vice President of Football Administration – Jim Overdorf
with treasurer Jeff Littmann nearby.
Getting under the salary cap wasn't much of a problem for NFL teams before the uncapped year of 2010.
The cap was going up $7 million a year. Many teams stayed to their budgets and had excess cap room. At the end of the 2009 season, 32 teams had $163 million of unused cap space.
Once the collective bargaining agreement is signed and the league is up and operating, teams have to return to the days of getting under the cap. The 2011 cap is going to be at $120 million, and there figure to be several cap casualties, particularly because the 2009 cap was at $128 million.

you could call and inquire about purchasing season tickets......ask if you could come to the ralph and "sit" in the seats to check out the view/site lines.....you could get a look at the field then......no way in heck they let you on the field during installation.
Mendenhall is seeking more than $1 million in damages according to NBC's Darren Rovell, who writes that the 24-year-old could win the suit because his contract with Champion did not have a morals clause, which would provide for rightful termination under these circumstances.
The suit reads, "This case involves the core question of whether an athlete employed as a celebrity endorser loses the right to express opinions simply because the company whose products he endorses might disagree with some (but not all) of those opinions."
