  4. In 1998, Warner was finally signed by an NFL franchise, the St. Louis Rams, and was allocated to NFL Europe's Amsterdam Admirals, where he would lead the league in touchdowns and passing yards.[15] Incidentally, his backup at the time was future Carolina Panthers quarterback Jake Delhomme, another famous rags-to-riches quarterback story. Returning to the United States for the season, Warner spent the 1998 season as St. Louis' third-string quarterback behind Tony Banks and Steve Bono. He ended his season completing only 4 of 11 pass attempts for 39 yards and a 47.2 QB rating. After releasing Banks and Bono following the 1998 season, the Rams signed free agent Trent Green to be their starting QB, and Warner was promoted to second string. When Green tore his ACL in a preseason game, Warner took over as the Rams' starter. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurt_Warner
  5. it would have made a MOCKERY of mini camp and preseason if leinart or lewis started ahead of Tuel.

  10. #1- the score itself is meaningless. #2- pre-season is a mine field of injuries. #3- players like CJ, Stevie, Mario, Kyle, Freddy, Gilmore, byrd should never see the field. #4- practicing at full speed is risky enough. at least teammates aren't taking out your knees (see kevin Williams Minnesota last night and others).
  11. Leinart will wear Number 7 a magical number.... http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/Bills-sign-veteran-QB-Matt-Leinart/7d624a8c-42e8-4920-a143-cde711071880

  15. A league source confirmed to PFT that Leinart is joining the Bills and adds that he could wind up starting in Week One against the Patriots. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/08/25/report-matt-leinart-to-sign-with-bills/
  16. if you wanna get your WR's some work and your worried about burning out the arm of your QB's, they make a nice machine for that. http://jugssports.com/productdetail.aspx?id=626
  17. this is a STRONG indication they do NOT expect EJ in week #1.
  18. my goodness, if the season ended today, we are in a tie for the #1 overall seed.

  20. Brad Smith: worst QB on team worst WR on team worst RB on team worst KR on team
  21. NO !....he could be traded, but he can NOT sign an extension. (k) Any Club designating a Franchise Player shall have until 4:00 p.m., New York time, on July 1 5 of the League Year (or, if July 1 5 falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the first Monday thereafter) for which the designation takes effect to sign the player to a multiyear contract or extension. After that date, the player may sign only a one-year Player Contract with his Prior Club for that season, and such Player Contract may not be extended until after the Club's last regular season game of that League Year. https://www.nflplayers.com/about-us/CBA-Download/
