"redskin" is a RACIAL DESCRIPTOR for native americans. it is usually offensive or insulting. -
Bills ticket office would not sell me season tickets
papazoid replied to 17 Josh Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
my god man, get a grip. now that you "know" the policy, you will be able to get the season tickets you desire in your price range for next season and beyond. as far as this year goes, you claim they will sell you individual tix in the non-premium areas you prefer and that you don't care about preseason. the only down side is you possibly sit in a different section each game and lose one year of seniority. look at that as an opportunity to check out different viewing vantage points so that next year you know exactly what you prefer, like row 10 and below is to low or the upper deck may be too high or the endzone is ok. as far as cost goes, I have seats in section 110 lower bowl , 35 yard line. I pay the season ticket price of $77 each game times 9 games (7 reg & 2 pre) for a total of $693 per season/per seat. if you divide that $693 by just the 7 regular season games, that gives you a budget of $99 per game, which is probably exactly what the bills would charge for individual games. you can also take your chances on the after market where you will probably get to buy tix for even less, especially the later games. I also have 6 season tickets in sec 202 (rockpile) and pay only $25 each per game. the bills website CLEARLY states their season ticket availability. all this ranting and raving for a temporary minor inconvenience. -
How much cash do we have left to spend on players?
papazoid replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if you mean cap space, then it's $21,910,064.00 as per the NFLPA updated 4 times a day. https://www.nflplayers.com/reports/RunPublicReport.aspx?report=top51 if you mean cash to cap, that's an internal bills thing separate from the cap. -

GB, SF, DEN, TEN, MIA, NYJ & CAR could all use an upgrade at kicker.

this is interesting.... most teams attempt 30-40 FG's per season, assuming a 10% dropoff that's 3-4 more FG's missed. are there any stats to show your points saved by starting field position ? and speaking of field position, the penalty for a missed 50+ yard FG is pretty severe as the opposing team takes possession at the spot of the FG attempt.
-
which kicker is better ? kicker "A" - 90% FG and 30% touchbacks. kicker "B" - 80% FG and 60% touchbacks
-
last year Lindell FG% was 87.5% kicking mostly OUTDOORS. there is a pretty good chance who ever replaces him will do worse.

the QB competition is over - EJ is your winner
papazoid replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if it came down to you could only keep one, i'm keeping tuel. in fact, I would rather use B. Smith's roster spot on a second kicker (one for FG's and one for Kickoffs). Brad smith is the 4th QB, the 8th WR, the 5th RB and the 10th best KR on this team. now that the wildcat is gone, he's unlikely to see the field. -
in addition, he is highly motivated to get to the later years of his contract. last season he played hurt prior to his wrist surgery and his play dramatically improved immediately after the surgery. I fully expect him to have an even greater impact in this years attacking defensive scheme.
-
I would carry TWO kickers, one for accuracy(FG's) and one for distance (kickoff touchbacks).

EJ's injury is just a speed bump. he will be the starter as soon as he's healthy, hopefully week #1. this does give Kolb a very good chance to save his roster spot. -

Kolb missed badly on many throws. I was shocked by how poorly he played. I was expecting so much more. I reject the notion that he was rusty. he essentially got to rest his arm for one week after having thrown balls for months during camp and OTA's. he had plenty of time this week to get ready. -
The Cowboys are Americas Team

relax, they are NOT defining "loyalty" like we are.... The analysis begins with a model of box office revenue based on variables that correspond to market potential (capacity and market population), team quality (winning percentage) and entertainment value (number of all stars, payroll). The insight or theory that drives the analysis is that this model can be used to predict the revenue that is due to quality and market potential. Any difference between this predicted value and actual value is due to “fan loyalty.” For example, when I speak to classes about what loyalty means, the first answer I get is that loyal customers engage in repeat buying of a brand. I will then throw out the example of the local cable company. The key to this example is that cable companies have very high repeat buying rates but they also frequently have fairly unhappy customers. When asked if a company can have loyal but unhappy customers students quickly realize that it is difficult to cleanly measure loyalty.
