#1- in the new conduct policy with the nflpa, goddell will ultimately relinquish his power to initially hand out discipline. he will only get involved on appeal. #2- this whole conduct/political correctness is driven by sponsors who are looking for squeaky clean endorsers. which is why when it comes to endorsements, many DEAD people are out earning living folks. because deceased endorsers can no longer damage their reputations and therefore have less risk.

Andrew luck is ranked 7th in both passer rating and total qbr. he is elite. he is the best young qb in the game.

orton isn't even mediocre. but orton is still much better than EJ who is currently god awful. neither will ever be a franchise QB.

Mallett is going to be terrific. his immaturity issues are behind him. rocket arm, above average accuracy. he would be a huge upgrade over orton and ej.

Hackett gets thrown under the bus first. then the bus falls on marrone trying to save Hackett. russ and whaley are safely inside the bus until the new yet to be named football czar suggests otherwise.

rigged ? total nonsense. the closest the shield gets to "rigging" is in the way they reward referees with playoff assignments. but that is not done with the intent of hurting one specific team. having said that, there are plenty of examples where dirty individual players or referees can or have rigged a game.

Hackett is in over his head and will be fired. marrone may join him if he refuses on principal. but execution is on the players. Hackett isn't throwing bad passes, dropping catches, missing blocks, fumbling and making dumb penalties.

Orton is ranked 28th in Total QBR. EJ is ranked 32nd. that's NOT good enough. stop with the "if we only had" better players at 5 other positions. until you get a FRANCHISE QB, your just spinning your wheels. you overpaid for Mario Williams and look what he has done for the defense. your going to have to overpay for a franchise QB in free agency in order to turn the offense around.
