  1. in order of reliability TBD fan poll whaley pegula brandon
  2. 50% say it's all good 50% say we're doomed
  3. geez, you didn't say all hell would break loose.....
  4. 99% of players are selfish and only look out for themselves. 100% of team are selfish and don't think twice about cutting players. marrone had a legit clause that protected him from the uncertainty of new ownership. he will have zero problems getting another gig in either the pro's or college.
  5. beautiful......hopefully he talks orton out of retirement too.
  6. he did what was best for him.....just like 99% of the players do. looking at him like he "quit" is a losers mentality. life goes on.
  7. bills go 14-2 with Rivers but you have a better shot at winning powerball vs prying him loose from SD
  8. agent Jimmy Sexton, who also represents Rex Ryan and a litany of other coaches, is too seasoned and savvy to let any client make such a seismic decision to quit his job (even though he received a guaranteed $4 million with no offset language) unless he had a strong sense that there was another one lined up. The sequence of events on Sunday makes it difficult to believe that the Jets didn’t have prior discussions with the Marrone camp. The feeling in league circles is that Casserly has been infatuated with Marrone for years. He’s calling the shots. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/mehta-consultants-pushing-doug-marrone-jets-article-1.2062892
  9. the HOF has already made it clear that Polian , coming in as a "contributor" is not subject to the 5 year reset rule.
  10. Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News reports that Chargers offensive coordinator Frank Reich is the "top target". http://profootballta...get-in-buffalo/
  11. win win hackett is also good as gone.
  12. what if the marrone thing wasn't the something he was talking about ?
  13. who can blame him.....he essentially gets a $4 mil bonus for leaving. he had no assurances he would be here long term. he gets to leave on a high note and on his terms.
  14. it's all about the money.... ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen reported that Marrone walks away with his 2015 salary of $4 million "without it counting as an offset against any future salary." The out clause in his contract activated if the Bills changed ownership, which happened when Terry Pegula bought the team. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/doug-marrone-opts-out-of-contract--done-as-buffalo-bills--coach-231705211.html
  15. yes it is. my favorites are bradford and mallett. foles, cutler, gabbert and our own 2nd rounder could be possibilities.
  16. for starters, we will have an easier schedule in 2015. we play the AFC South and NFC east. secondly, i'd say there is about a 90% chance we have an upgrade at QB vs orton and ej.
  17. your friend must be dreaming while sleeping on the job
  18. cottrell said it was intentional......he just didn't think a playoff game suspension fit the crime.
  19. Bradford is due to make A BASE SALARY of nearly $13 million next season and said Tuesday he's been focusing on rehab rather than a potential restructuring or pay cut that will almost certainly have to happen if the Rams are bringing Bradford back to compete for a job. his cap hit is $16.6 mil with dead money of $3.6 mil which would result in a savings of $13 mil of cap space if cut. it is NOT in Bradfords best interest to take a pay cut. he will get paid the full $13 mil base or force his way to Free Agency by not restructuring. he will either be traded or cut.
  20. EJ sucks (ranked outside the top 32). at best, his upside is mediocre (around 20th). thats not good enough.
  21. the guy is a cancer and DISTRACTION on and off the field. he will be run out of seattle after this season for being part of the cancer he and harvin created in the locker room because they don't respect the light skinned corporate persona of russell wilson.
  22. In a letter to Suh explaining the decision to allow Suh to play on Sunday but fine him $70,000, Cottrell makes clear that he believes Suh knew he was standing on Rodgers leg. 'Although I accept that your feet may have been cold on a late December day in Green Bay, it is difficult for me to believe that you did not feel Aaron Rodgers leg under you as you stepped on him twice' Cottrell wrote. While you may not have consciously intended to cause injury to the opposing player that you stepped on, I nonetheless believe that you could have avoided and had the responsibility to avoid making such dangerous contact with your opponents leg twice. Your conduct was a clear violation of the Playing Rules and was outside the normal course of the game of football. It must be emphasized that illegal acts that jeopardize the safety of other players, as was certainly the case here, will not be tolerated in this League. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/12/30/ted-cottrell-doesnt-believe-suh-didnt-feel-rodgerss-leg/
  23. Lions' Suh has suspension rescinded, will play Sunday; fined $70K http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/lions--suh-has-suspension-rescinded--will-play-sunday--fined--70k-223230996.html
  24. not even close... Bills home playoff game.
  25. Orton is just following the brett farve playbook on how to avoid keeping his weight under control, OTA's, training camp, pre-season games, maybe random drug tests. he's not done playing. some desperate team will bring him out of retirement.
