Well, of the recent retirings... all I have to say it’s not old news. Some UDFA’s don’t want to go through the hassle. In this modern era, we move fast, eat fast and want things faster.
NFL has changed. See the Bills 10-6, winning close games and having a 5-1 AFC East record in 2018
Schedule looks hard, but see the AFC a bit weaker than previous years. See the Pats derailed finally.

I can dream
Me. I think Allen sits the whole season and AJ leads this team to 10-6. Not trying to be a homer, but the Bills are underrated again and could see this team battle for the AFC East.
3-4 guy. Didn’t fit McD’s system. But, the guy can play. Smart and instinctive. Remember the coaches loved his heart and complemented him after he was traded.
Same here. Still think the Bills are in play for the #2 pick. Connecting the dots Gettleman was a Bills scout and got his career started with the Bills. Gettleman worked with Beane. Gettleman wants Beane to succeed. Hughes played for the new Giants DC in 2012. Could be part of the package. Wouldn’t be surprised if a deal hasn’t been made weeks/months ago.
