The last year I was at a biotech company in Alameda, CA they had laid off some people in September. The Christmas party was in the banquet room on the top floor of the Oakland Marriot. Great party with caviar and everything. First week in February they laid off about 66% of us remaining employees including some of us who were some of the first people hired. About a year later,company was sold to Pfizer and about 6 people got to stay with the company if they moved to NJ.

I totaled my car in August. Was a 2009 Focus that I was going to drive into the ground as it was starting to rust out. Got a rental thru my insurance from Enterprise. They mentioned they sell their older cars. Had $ from my share of mom's house. So checked out their sales location up at Transit and N. French in Amherst. Got a 2021 Nissan Altima at the top of the range I wanted to pay (That was with tax, registration, etc.). Told them I was paying cash and would be there the next morning with a cashier's check as soon as I could get it from the bank.

I knew someone who worked as a salesman at a Chrysler/Dodge dealership and he told me to not even pull into the lot to turn around. They had the salesmen assigned in order and if you turned around in the lot that salesman lost his place and would have to wait until it came around to him again.

I hear a lot of the "press" pronouncing it "Doje". I call it "Doggie" and the logo should be a Pit Bull.
