  1. The idiots at CNN accidentally gave out Al and Tipper's personal e-mail. They posted a a pdf of the e-mail with the e-mail address blacked out (black print on a black background). Problem is, click on the blacked out area, and and it boots up your mail program to send an e-mail to that address.
  2. Could any woman stand that drone of his in the bedroom?
  3. Don't know. I was channel surfing and saw him. I instantly thought "Oh my God, PBS has sunk to the level of Connor!" and kept on going.

  7. Why don't you provide a peer reviewed journal article about how WTC7 was brought down by explosives instead of a big chunk of the WTC hitting it? Asking your education level in science is not calling you names. Calling you a moran is calling you names.
  8. Connor, Did you take any science classes after 8th grade?
  9. You are correct. They first sequenced the bacteria's whole genome (which nowadays takes only a few weeks) Then they built a new genome with optimized gene expression of some genes. In some non-coding areas they put "trademarks" so they could tell if the resultant growth was from the engineered bacteria. The "trademarks were DNA sequences that when translated to one letter amino acid codes would spell out some of their names (Ventner can be spelled out).
  10. How has the Oil Spill affected my life? Not a damn bit.
  11. May have seen you. I was in Sausilito geocaching Sunday. There were tons of sailboats out on the Bay. Was such a clear day too.
  12. One of the founders of the town I live in was the first buried in the church cemetery. He was in his mid 20s and fell off the roof of the church while building it.
  13. A interesting place is Colma, Ca. It is a two square mile town of 1,600 just south of San Francisco with an underground population of over 1.5 million. In 1900, SF banned any new cemeteries. In 1912, when rebuilding after the quake, they started digging up the graves there and moving them to Colma. Today in SF are only three cemeteries left, the military cemetery at the Presidio, at Mission Delores, and the Columbarium (cremated remains-above ground). Colma has 18 cemeteries. Some of the famous people buried there are William Randolph Hearst, Wyatt Earp, and Joe DiMaggio. The motto of the town is; "It's Great to be Alive in Colma."
  14. A bird hitting glass is it seeing it's reflection and thinking it is a rival or an attacker. But something on the outside, so it doesn't see a reflection.
  15. John and Ken from a radio station in LA had someone down at Staples Center to see how big the"protest "was- 30 people! The press outnumbered them.

  17. They must have shot him up with something (some kind of speed) because on the local TV, he's in worse shape than Ralph. When he fired Kiffin, he rambled on for over 30 minutes.

  19. Is that a union shop he's going to?
  20. This is about a week old. Right on top of the news.
  21. Probably for safety. My dad worked in a food warehouse. A guy climbed up the racks to adjust boxes on a pallet he wsa going to bring down. He jumped down, and his school ring got caught on the metal racks. Tore the meat off the bone. They couldn't reattach it and tried an experimental procedure to grow a finger out of chest muscles (in early 70s). The guy had problems with the finger and had to get it cut off several years later. After that, no rings except wedding bands in the warehouse.
  22. Easy when he was a RINO for years. Specter is indeed scum. Didn't have to represent that murderer.
  23. Specter is scum. He was a lawyer for Ira Eichorn in Philly. Eichorn was involved with a woman for 5 years. She broke up with him and moved to NYC. He lured her back to get her stuff and she disappeared. He killed her and kept her in a locker in the closest of his apartment for months. When the cops finally investigated the smell, and arrested him, he claimed it was a CIA plot to frame him. Einhorn's bail was reduced to $40,000 at the request of his early-on attorney Arlen Specter; Einhorn was released from custody in advance of his trial by paying 10% of the bond's value, or $4,000. This bail was paid, not by Einhorn, but by Barbara Bronfman, a Montreal socialite and a member of the family that owns the Seagram liquor company. In 1981, just days before his murder trial was to begin, Einhorn skipped bail and fled to Europe. He lived there until tracked down and with the help of John Walsh of America's Most Wanted, got him back here where he is serving life.( Should have been executed).
  24. You're a racist. The reason you don't like Thomas is that he is a conservative black man. Has to be an Uncle Tom, right?
