Tried it when I was a teen. Please, everyone try your hardest to quit all tobacco. My father smoked cigarettes from the age of 14 to 34. Switched to pipes and cigars. smoked those until 53. Had a "silent heart attack" and a TIA at 53. Was out of work for 3 months. Quit cold turkey then. At 59 diagnosed with lung cancer -was coughing up blood. First words after the diagnosis were "Son of a B word, I should have never started smoking". Lived for about 18 more months (age 60). Don't want to see anyone else go through that.

I never got anything in the mail. Not the reminder, form or followup postcard, and I am in the same place as 2000. Today iw sa at the library and a Census person was there. Got the form. There is no way I missed it in the mail. Didn't give my name or phone #., but filled out the rest.

I drove from Hartford to Silicon Valley in 1995. Had a rental truck and towed my car. Got on the road just before sunrise and drove until about 45 min before sunset. Picked a destination and made a reservation for that evening. Wyoming has a lot of exits on 80, but most are just two dirt roads going north and south to the horizon. Ended up staying in Buffalo (mom's house), middle of Illinois (locked the keys in the truck), Omaha, Laramie, Salt Lake City, and Reno.

The reason for the high prescription drug costs in the US is the price controls in other countries. The drug companies can't by law charge more there. They have to get the money for R&D for new drugs from someplace. Price controls here = no new drugs. Want to lower our costs? Get the other countries to remove their controls.
