I've only had to go downtown once for jury duty. They told us it was a murder trial before we had to fill out the questionnaire. I made sure I stressed my molecular biology background. Got out of it due to financial hardship reasons.

I think the IQ on the jury averaged about 60. They only way they could have had more evidence is if they had a videotape of the killing.

Some of the most 'devout' are the biggest hypocrites. I knew someone who taught on Embassy Row in Karachi in the later 70's (before the USSR came in). He said the parties there were filled with people who were supposed to be some of the most devout and during Ramadan, when you are supposed to fast, they'd pig out at dinners.
