  1. All anyone needs to know about Connor is that he believes that WTC7 was brought down by explosives.
  2. Freedom of speech. It's his billboard, does not contain swearing or nudity and it's not against zoning rules, so who cares.
  3. For Connor, the crazy idea that Republicans have is that WTC7 was not taken down by explosives.
  4. Also the father of David Bordenarz, the former star of Angel and the current co-star of Bones (Agent Booth).
  5. Ron Jaworski has a detectable WNY accent.
  6. The only part in ND was when they caught Lundergard in the motel in Fargo. I had a boss that grew up in MN. She said the hicks in MN speak like they did in the movie.
  7. He's coming with George Sieifert.
  8. Are you in a time warp. That was about a week ago. Way to be up to date.
  9. The three men I admire most The Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost They caught the last train for the coast The day the music died.....
  10. The shooter was Major Malik Nadal Hasan. I knew it was the Amish.
  11. Buffalo News Article I still remember the first Bills game he played a few days later. It's the first series of the game Denver, has the ball. In the middle of the series, the Bills substitute, putting in Biscuit. He lines up behind Bruuuuuce, Elway looks up, sees him and immediately calls time. The place went nuts.
  12. What are you, 12? Which one are you, Beavis or Butthead?
  13. Do I amuse you?
  14. The best episode EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. It actually took almost 4 hours. The last cars crossed at 9 PM. Took someone I know 1 hour and 45 minutes to get in this morning. That included getting a ride to a nearby BART station, changing trains and walking 6-7 blocks (she works next to the Bridge in SF, in fact a block from Chef Jim's house). The winds have been high, so the crews haven't been up there to work on it. The repairs are about 120 feet above the roadway and he winds have been about 20 mph with gusts to 30. The alternatives are : 1) to take the BART 2) drive up to Richmond, across the Richmond San Rafael Bridge, down through Marin County (past San Quentin) and then over the Golden Gate Bridge into SF or 3) Down the east bay to the San Mateo Bridge (at least 15 miles), across the Bridge (10 miles) and back up the Peninsula to SF
  16. Took over two hours to clear the approaches.
  17. On Labor Day weekend, while schedule construction was being done, a cracked I-bar was found on another part of the Oakland- Bay Bridge. Quickly a bracket was designed, made , and put in place and the bridge opened only an hour behind schedule. Today at 5:30, the bracket made in September and a cable attached to it fell onto the upper deck of the bridge. No one was seriously hurt (just auto glass fragments in eyes) and three vehicles were damaged. They are closing the entire bridge. On Labor Day weekend, the closure was planned and it was a holiday weekend, so there wasn't much trouble. This closure will really cause a cluster **** tonight and tomorrow as about 500,000 cars go over it a day. At least Chef Jim will have a quiet night, as he lives in the shadow of the bridge.
  18. He married the ketchup queen and he served in Vietnam, you know.
  19. Looks like he newest Apple commercial ("Trust Me") is right on the money.
  20. Lotsa bugs. Naked female soldiers in the shower. Next: Eating Raoul
  21. Typical for late October. A few times it snowed when I was trick or treating as a kid.
  22. Definitely Lot 1 pole 5. Ask anyone in Lot 1 where Pinto Ken's Tailgate is. Pinto Ken may be the most devoted fan in the NFL. He has been to every home and away regular season and playoff game since 1994 (now>250). His tailgate attracts over 100 people. Do a bowling ball shot and stay for the ketchup ceremony.
  23. She's 55. Body Heat was half her life ago. Looks good for a 55 year old with arthritis problems. Also probably hasn't had facelifts. Lets see what some of these posters look like when they are 55.
  24. No, I do not. I hate their guts. For people in other places, they are a group (of hundreds) of "cyclists" in SF that once a month in the summer on a Friday after work ride where they want to and totally screw up the traffic. They cross at red lights and then start beating cars when someone almost hits them. They tried to get on the Bay Bridge the wrong way one time. Had the cops out in riot gear to stop that one. Hence the name I call them. The last two words are one, but the swearing filter makes it unintelligible.
