Not even Asian students. I had a boss who came from Czechoslovakia to Michigan in 1969. He knew only a few words of English. They put him in first grade. By the end of the year, he was in his grade level and getting As. He then went on to get a PhD from Stanford in Immunology and a law degree.

I saw on TLC once about this teenage girl who was perfectly normal. She got in a car accident and needed a CAT scan or MRI of her head. They found her cereberum was only a 1/2-1 thick layer just inside of her skull. Where most of the brain was supposed to be was cerebro-spinal fluid. She went on to get a college degree and is living a normal life.

The dems fled the state because there needs to be a quorum of 20 to vote. There are 19 Republicans and 16 dems. One of the dems has to be in the sate (the governor can get the cops to haul them into the capitol) to get a quorum.

Recently Kenneth Mars (Crazy Playwright in the original Producers, Police Inspector with the wooden arm in Young Frankenstein, and recently the German dude ranch owner on Malcolm in the Middle) and Len Lesser (Uncle Leo on Seinfeld) died. Didn't see any mention here.

In the previous flyby, the satellite was out ahead of the comet. It released a fridge-sized block which was slowed down, basically having the comet rear end it. The satellite analyzed the material kicked up by the impact. It will be interesting to see the impact crater, now that the dust has settled from the man-made impact.

I know someone that is a studio singer in LA and has sung in a lot of commercials. She is one of the voices doing the intros and outros to commercials Can't stand the show. She did it because they pay well.
