    I did a job at the local Benz dealer last month. While waiting to talk to the manager, I looked at the sticker of a convertible on the showroom floor- $250K!!!!!!! :blink:

    The unemployment rate in California is still around 11 %. I was an adult during the Carter recession and this is worse.

    They go to the government for more $. Here in CA we have the Meathead Tax on cigs. It was pushed by Rob Reiner to advertise to stop teens from starting smoking. When less people were smoking, they came begging to the State Legislature for more moolah.

    That's inaccurate too. Congress gave him immunity to testify and then they tried to put him on trial based on what he testified. Since they gave him immunity, the case was thrown out.

    I live near the Altamont Pass (made famous in the Gimmie Shelter movie). It has the second larges windfarm in the US (about 2K windmills). I was out there geocaching last month and didn't see a single one turning.

    Like I said before, he want's to be able to walk to the liquor store or bar so he won't get a DWI. To force him to drive is inhuman.

    Look at any article on a politician getting in trouble. If it a republican, the article had (R-Eastbumf**k) in the first sentence. If the party affiliation is not mentioned or is buried in the middle or end of the article, it is a dem.
