In my town, they took two underpasses under the interstate and made some nice murals. One is modern people looking through windows at scenes of the Ohlone indians, Mexicans and Irish that settled the area. The other is the Ohlone indians, Mexicans and Irish looking at modern scenes of the town. They put an anti-grafitti coating on them and have had no problems in almost 10 years. They even painted the sides. One has someone I know and her two kids pointing to the artists finishing up the work. The woman worked at the Safeway next to the interstate and gave them coffee. On the other side is what looks like a large round access port that appears ajar. These artists have done a few other underpasses in other towns in the area

I've only had to go downtown once for jury duty. They told us it was a murder trial before we had to fill out the questionnaire. I made sure I stressed my molecular biology background. Got out of it due to financial hardship reasons.

I think the IQ on the jury averaged about 60. They only way they could have had more evidence is if they had a videotape of the killing.

Some of the most 'devout' are the biggest hypocrites. I knew someone who taught on Embassy Row in Karachi in the later 70's (before the USSR came in). He said the parties there were filled with people who were supposed to be some of the most devout and during Ramadan, when you are supposed to fast, they'd pig out at dinners.

Don't need a GPS to do that. In Alameda, CA, a middle aged doctor went to a dinner conference and never returned home. They looked for her for a few weeks when someone finally found her in her sunken car about 20 feet off a boat ramp. The ramp is just a continuation of the street it is on. Must have gotten lost , went into the water and panicked and drowned. Back in the 80s, I remember that they would fish cars from the foot of Michigan St. (?) in Buffalo every few years.
