  1. Gym Teacher?
  2. Back to the original topic. I only watched the ceremonies last night, but today I saw Pictures of Obama from the interview. He was BAKED. Or having a stroke.
  3. I wish Delta had this. The video around christmas had Santa, an elf , Scrooge, etc. Paid attention though because it was funny.
  4. Liked the ceremonies. I recognized Sabre Dance by Aram Khachaturyan-Played at every Sabre home game. I noticed the Trololo song in one part of the presentation Too bad he died in June 2012. I guessed correctly that Tretiak would light the torch.
  5. I know some of what you are going through. My dad died 23 years ago at 60 from lung cancer. My uncle (his B-I-L) was visiting. He had congestive heart failure and also knew he was dying too. I overheard them making a bet about who was going first. They agreed to pay the bet later. Knowing that both could joke about it made me feel better. My uncle lasted about 3 months longer I picture them as drinking beers, smoking cigars and playing cards with another uncle that died in his 40s in the mid 70s from diabetes. He liked them both. They're having fun while waiting for the rest of us. Praying for you and your loved ones.
  6. We're already in a drought. Last year's rainfall was below normal and with the rain we got and expect this weekend, we'll be at about 25% of normal instead of about 15%. The town I previous lived in gets groundwater and water from the state water authority. The state has told them they are getting ZERO this year.
  7. What? Behind the rabbit?
  8. Liked the Doberhuahua commercial. Watched it on youtube. Saw a Sarah McLachlan poking fun at herself.
  9. How about Heart? They sang Stairway to Heaven at the JFK Honors and still sound as good as they did 40 years ago. Ann Wilson sang The Star Spangled Banner at the NFC Championship and was fantastic.
  10. the Seneca Niagara casino after ..
  11. I used to get riled up over Tom many years ago. The attitude I took was why the hell should I care what someone says on the other side of the country. I'll probably never meet him in person. Lowered my blood pressure. I consider it a badge of honor to have been called an idiot by him.
  12. Turn out the lights, the [arty's over.
  13. Will Flea come out with only a sock on?
  14. It's Farakan's mother ship.
  15. Dre faking a Colt out of his jock. The Buffalo News had a photo where the defender was totally off the ground as Dre changed directions. Dre catching a bomb for a TD from Reich on a MNF game vs the Rams.
  16. Each type of cancer is basically a different disease. There is no one cancer cure. Different oncogenes get activated in different cancers.
  17. On I-80 (the road to Reno) , when the chain laws are informed, it is MANDATORY to put on chains (near Donner Pass) they have an area to put on chains. If you don't have them or can't put them on, you HAVE to pay to rent them or have someone put them on for you. After that area, there is a cop that will ticket you if you don't have them on.
  18. But if you want money for people with minds that hate All I can tell you is brother you have to wait But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow
  19. California is from 9.75 to 10.25. Depends on the county stales tax.
  20. Sunday t was clear and 72 in the East SF Bay area. Cooled down to 65 today. Is about 40 at night. Problem is we have about 7% of normal rainfall (1.5 inches on two days). Thats 2 days since April 2013.
  21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rRqKYXcL-2U Just saw this today on You Tube
  22. Douche chills
  23. Seem like when the Daily Mail (in the UK)sees something that happens every year, they lame it on the "polar vortex". From he comments after the article, these form every winter. They also stated last week that Niagara falls "froze solid".
  24. Radon exposure varies depending on the bedrock. It is an element and does not depend on man-made causes. It depends on how much uranium ore is in the bedrock. Since the gas is the heaviest gas, it is tested only on the first floor or basement level (if the building has a basement). Here is an EPA site that gives you a rough county by county assessment of the potential exposure, http://www.epa.gov/radon/zonemap.html There are three "levels" that radon exposure is classified at. Zone 1 counties have a predicted average indoor radon screening level greater than 4 pCi/L (picocuries per liter) Zone 2 counties have a predicted average indoor radon screening level between 2 and 4 pCi/L Zone 3 counties have a predicted average indoor radon screening level less than 2 pCi/L. Iowa is all zone 1 , while most of Texas is Zone 2 or 3. Hawaii is zone 3. Testing is done by placing an activated charcoal canister exposed to air in the lowest floor for 48-96 hours and then analyzed for radon. If exposure is greater than 4 pCi/L, the remediation necessary is to increase the ventilation in that area. I do testing as part of my job in residential buildings (usually only FreddieMac locations). Commercial locations do not need to be tested.I have not found any readings higher than 2.0 p/Ci in California.
  25. I read her hashtag is #Standwithwendy . Another boner by her. You think they would have dropped that as soon as soon as Greg Abbott started running against her.
