  1. Just curious, assuming Sammy doesn't have a breakout year of over let's say 1300 yards and 10 TD's, will fans keep making these often cited parallels with Julio's 4th year breakout?
  2. Look at the bottom six Russel Wilson, Tyrod Taylor, Deshaun Watson, Jacoby Brissett, Carson Wentz, Deshone Kizer. Two observations: They are all mobile QB's And that we are in a supposed West Coast style offense which means the ball should be getting out quicker, seems as if that isn't working out to well for TT.
  3. Buy - The front Four Sell - TT, WR's and pass protection Hold - DB's
  4. On that play he felt the end pushing the RT back into the pocket and he sidestepped the perceived pressure and then threw it. It was when he sidestepped that Zay had made his diagonal route to the sideline, in other words before TT's throwing motion had begun. Again, Zay most likely should have made his run more upfield.. So because he didn't does give him partial blame for the play imo. But, the fact that he didn't make that upfield trek and that he did indeed commit to the sideline/pylon and that TT saw this before he began his throw pretty much tosses out the idea that he was justified throwing the ball where he did. At this point, who care's where the route should have been? If you see a route going a certain direction and you throw it to that receiver then you have to throw where he could be in best position to catch it not where it should have been intended to have been. It's clear, the fault lies on both of them.
  5. Yes and they both have been absolute busts. So is it possible that some sucker would pay $20M a year, yes because as I noted all it takes is one team. But is he worth it and is it likely he would get that? I would say no.
  6. He very well may be right that Zay should have broken his route more upfield but where he is wrong is that Zay had already committed to the sideline/Pylon before TT began his throwing motion and TT should have adjusted his throw to Zay's route on the outside of his shoulder despite the error from Zay. And for that, they both get the blame.
  7. If TT were to hit the open market now, I think there is a more than 50/50 chance that he wouldn't get anywhere near $20 M a year on the open market. Of course as we all know, it only takes one team to make the offer but I don't see it.
  8. Well.... It kinda actually was. But I get what you are saying.
  9. Rico said that both TT and Zay were both to blame for that last play.
  10. Zay should have turned his route up the field more than he did. It appears he didn't run the route the way he supposed to have ran it. On the flip side, when TT began his throwing motion he could clearly see that Zay was already committed to that diagonal run to the sideline. If TT had begun his throwing motion before Zay committed to the sideline then I'd agree that it was all on Zay for running a poor route. But that is not what happened, Zay committed to the route that he did, TT saw that before he began his throwing motion and should have adjusted the throw to the route and thrown it to his outside shoulder. Yes it would have been a smaller window than if Zay would have ran the route more upfield but that isn't what happened. Therefore from my perspective they both get the blame.
  11. This is clearly a play that they were both at fault. Just about equally.
  12. If I had to take a guess, I would think TT will be benched sometime after week 7. I just don't see how they yank him before that.
  13. Even though I do think Holmes would have beat his man for a deep one it is hard to blame TT here. He actually made a good read and threw it with anticipation.
  14. Zay should have ran a more up-the-field route, but when TT began throwing the ball Zay had already made his break to the sideline, meaning that TT saw the play develop before he threw it, and the ball should have been to his outside shoulder. This was a clear case where the blame goes on both the receiver and the QB
  15. So let me see if I'm getting this right, TT shouldn't throw the ball on third and longs if it's a slant pattern because the ball could be tipped at the LOS potentially creating a turnover and that TT shouldn't throw it down the field to Holmes even if he's open because he may not catch it. That's it!! Jauron is BADOL! BADOL is Jauron!!
  16. Why should have he thrown it? It could have been tipped at the LOS and been picked off. Jauron wouldn't have approved.
  17. I've been waiting to see a full field view of the QB and Zay on that last play. I wasn't sure if TT had begun making his throw and then Zay ran the route to the sideline or if TT made the throw after he saw Zay making his run to the sideline. For me it's now conclusive, TT should have made that throw to his outside shoulder just as Sal had said. It's very possible that Zay could have turned more upfield on that route, but none the less TT made a poor throw and definitely deserves blame.
  18. That damn contract.
  19. Penalties are way down, good sound disciplined defense is on the rise. We traded away some talent this year and received some quality players that fit in this system who have contributed. Wait until next year, we will have all those draft choices, tons of cap room to continue to fill out the roster the way they envision it and another year for players to continue building on to what they are building. This team is moving in the right direction.
  20. Whoever believes that McD's in any jeopardy whatsoever no matter how bad the offense plays over the course of this year is 100% outright delusional. McD/Beane ain't going anywhere, they got the keys to the car for the next few years and I have a lot of optimism that this organization is finally moving in the right direction.
  21. That's the sort of pass you wish he would make more. Unfortunately those passes are too far and few between.
  22. That's his biggest problem, along with his pre snap reads.
  23. You're right, QB's shouldn't even try to pick up first downs on situations like that, because you know, they have to play risk averse football and not throw passes to open receivers because it's possible that passes could be tipped at the LOS which could create turnovers. Ridiculous The slant to the slot receiver was there and yes it is likely that the LB would have made the stop before the sticks, but it's also possible with a well thrown ball that he could have broken a tackle and gotten the first down. This opinion of yours is the epitome of what "Jauron Ball" would look like. No risks, no glory
