  1. The funding for subsidies and the cost sharing is not bankrupting the middle class. What's making premiums go higher has nothing to do with this.
  2. It's a good informative read on some elements of McD's defense.
  3. Now that a combination of GOP purists and "moderates" have put a Kabash on repealing and replacing the law it appears that there may be a bipartisan temporary fix. It's a good responsible move, it certainly won't fix it's major flaws but it will keep the funding going and allow states to loosen up some of the regs. Hopefully next year they will come to real fix. If you don't like it, then you can blame Rand, McCain, Collins and whoever else was leaning no. The saying of the "perfect is the enemy of the good." comes to mind.
  4. A lot of people view Football as their refuge from the daily bull **** that surrounds us, which includes politics. If I were a professional athlete I'd make sure to not get politics involved not just because I believe it doesn't mix well with sports but because if I took any sort of a stand, there is a good chance that I'd be alienating a decent segment of my fanbase. If you want to use your high profile for a certain advocacy there are plenty of platforms that you could use to get your message across. Twitter, Facebook, interviews etc. Just keep it away from the sport itself, that would be my advice.
  5. I don't think it's that he doesn't like paying big contracts, I believe it to be more of a matter of paying big contracts to: A) Scheme fits B) History of consistent proven production
  6. That was a really good breakdown of some of the things McD's defense does.
  7. The Democratic party deserves Moore being a U.S Senator
  8. The Republican party and Moore deserve each other.
  9. Great sign that Dareus could be back for Sunday's game. Him and Worthy would make that interior that much better.
  10. That's not the point that he was making. He was comparing characteristics such as physical and mental toughness, closing speed and the ability to track the ball in the air.
  11. Having Sammy definitely helps Goff, no doubt about it.
  12. Buy Lesean McCoy Hold Front four Sell DB's (I think they will have their first adverse game)
  13. McDermott has been on a tear with the decisions he's been involved with! Poyer, Hyde, Tre, Gaines, Matthews and all those draft picks for 2018. Who in their right mind could not be on board with this?
  14. Impressive highlights. Looks like he's got some speed to him as well. He must really have some unimpressive lowlights as well to not have been drafted.
  15. Seems like a very knowledgeable and likable guy who truly understands the game of football. I wouldn't be surprised that he ends up having a coaching career.
  16. Trump was purposely divisive. He knew that by going after the "kneelers" would be a politically winning issue for him. I know of people who can't stand him who are now showing their disdain for the "kneelers". And the athletes played right into his hands. The NFL owners had little choice but to protect their product (the players) and it's unfortunate that the president would interject himself into a private business company matters to score cheap political points. I look at this and it appears that everyone seems to be in the wrong here. Personally I don't give a **** if they kneel but at the same time I look at it and ask myself "You want to protest racial inequality by kneeling to the flag?" What a misguided and stupid decision. But whatever, all I see are snowflakes on both sides of this argument
  17. I thought it was a catch but I doubt they would have overturned it.
  18. You will continue banging that drum because it's the only tune you know.
  19. If you can't see how the Bills FO are trying to remake this team and why they have a certain decision pattern on player personnel decisions then I honestly don't believe you get it. You can disagree with their thought process but most people recognize that they have a clear and concise vision of how this football team should look like.
  20. I've said this quite a few times, as long as this defense is a top 5-8 defense with a good ground attack that TT is a more than capable QB to lead us to the playoffs What I'm most pleasantly surprised is that last game our run game was largely muted and Rico and TT were able to devise and execute a game plan to put up 26 points against one of the best defenses in the NFL. If they can continue to do that then that will greatly increase our odds of reaching the playoffs. That's still a big if.
  21. I think Kyle Orton would be one cool ass dude to have a beer with but to be on the Wall of Fame?? C'mon Man!!!
  22. Looks like the mobile QB's get hit the most.
  23. We may get Dareus and Jerel back this week, that should help.
  24. They were already on the team and it was not necessary to make room for them.
  25. I don't see how anyone would want to take on that contract unless somehow Dareus begins playing at a pro bowl level. Teams don't want to pay over $10M a year for a player that eats up blockers and essentially is a space eater, those can be had for south of $10M a year. You pay $10M + a year for DT's that live in the opposing team's backfield, who disrupts, who makes tackles behind the LOS who gets sacks and QB pressures. Right now, he's a space eater and not much more.
