Taylor has 40 yards passing this half. They're going to need to play lights out on defense and run the ball for 200+ yards per game to get it done this season.
It's ironic that Ryan had a terrible defense and the best offense in 10 years, while Jackson looks to have a terrible offense and a very strong defense.
This is the most asanine analysis that I’ve ever seen. The ball probably gets from Allen to the receiver (including windup) faster than for 80% of the other QBs in the NFL. Just look at the first couple of preseason games. The DBs weren’t “getting ready to pounce” on anything. They were more like “WTF just happened”.
If you watched Allen play in these two games and know anything about football, you can see he obviously has all the tools you need to be a great QB. He just needs to be coached up and developed properly.
I think they will try to hold on to all three and get a trade for the loser. No point in just cutting him outright. I agree, Allen will be number two no matter what, if no other reason that to get the snaps in practice with the Bills offense.
I doubt that’s the case actually. If the McCarron and Peterman struggle, the outcry from fans and media to see Allen will have an impact on the coaching staff, believe me.
