Nsekhe hasn’t really been that good when he’s been in there, and to be honest neither has Dawkins. They are working around it by helping the tackles out with the TEs and with the quick passing game but to me it looks like an average OL right now. If that’s the goal, then they’re there.

If he can improve on special teams then he can make a career in the league as a #4 WR / special teamer. Otherwise, he may be in trouble.

You can't build an entire offensive line in one off-season. They were horrible last season and the Bills basically started from scratch with 4 new starters. Even the one holdover, Dawkins, isn't exactly an all-pro. It's going to take a couple more off-seasons to solidify the OL, assuming that they continue to work on it. Cody Ford is just a rookie and he may develop into a starter, but they're going to bring in other OTs to compete with him (and Dawkins.)

I'm not sure I can agree with you here. That team was never that good. It was a total fluke that they made it as far as they did that one season. I mean they barely beat the Bills that year. They didn't really dismantle anything of substance, IMO.

Regarding Dawkins, I think he may be in the Lawson category- will play out his contract with no extension and the Bills will be looking to draft a possible replacement. They obviously don't think he can run the ball between the tackles anywhere as effectively as Gore. Singletary has 1 carry between the tackles in 2 games for 2 yards.

Why doesn’t “defensive pass rush separation from QB” at least include all the DL? Bills played more than the four “starters” listed. This stat would also be useful for the Bills pass rush package, which includes Alexander as well.

I saw many downs yesterday where Lawson AND Murphy were both in. Lawson spelled Hughes, not Murphy, and Murphy stayed in with the second unit in lieu of Johnson. It looked to me like their primary pass rush DL package was Hughes, Murphy, Alexander and Oliver. Shaq inside may have happened a couple of times as part of the 2nd rush package group but wasn't utilized much.
