  1. Simple curiosity.. Why didnt the Seneca's pay as agreed?
  2. Spooked me today also.. share your apprehension.. but hopefully it gets done
  3. I agree , not disputing anything , was just offering my opinion about the downstate politicos , thats all.. sorry if you took it wrong
  4. Everything i read, like anybody else on here , is that the usual NYC blowhards are making a stink .. frustrating for sure, but the State has a surplus due to unused Covid funds. All posturing , IMHO
  5. LOL.. I will be 104.. will have to cut back a bit on the pre-game drinking im thinking..
  6. Get the thing built.. all the "taxpayer watchdogs" , horse manure out there.. stop .. its not "taxpayer dollars "given to NFL owners, that is the most simplistic predictable "argument " against the state forking over the money.. the obvious positive intangibles the stadium will bring more than justifies building it.. ridiculous ..the over thinking is nuts..
  7. Boy you got that right! Citifield, The new Yankee Stadium , Us WNY'S had no say.. it was just a given it would be done .. shut our mouths.l. after all its NYC!
  8. I kind of agree with the OP, but i see the Raiders in the mix, instead of Miami.. and KC? sure is food for thought though
  9. I like it.. "back in the day "chemistry in "the room" was not invented yet.. seems like it plays quite the part in the make-up, psychology , of the team nowadays.
  10. I thought so.. but am not 100 per cent sure.. would not doubt it..
  11. Totally agree, Citi Field , where the Mets play got lots of State taxpayer dollars.. the thought of the elitist blowhards in NYC impacting this .. is infuriating.
  12. Well, supposedly "real grass" has come along way from the old days, and can only hope .. but you do wonder how it would hold up to the heavy rains ..like you say
  13. Interesting to read all the "big shot" demands about the stadium.. Face it , grab your ankles, its reality about the NFL Having lived thru the Lancaster Dome BS, Ralph threatening to move, here and there, be thankful if it does happen.. and hope it does.We are not exactly bargaining from the hand of strength .. all the moaning about taxpayers getting screwed, all that.. we keep the Bills. case closed.
  14. I can see how you can think that, especially about how that turf in the old Municipal Stadium used to look.. trust me.. but i do prefer natural grass for the reasons some have stated on here .. its come along way from that..
  15. I will go even farther back... I liked the John Rauch Head Coaching hire , talk about a bust! .. Using OJ as a decoy and blocking back kind of said it all !
  16. Tough time of the year for me.. mock drafts.. no disrespect to those into it, research it, but for me, the overkill over the years has turned me off.The Draft cant get here fast enough..
  17. I am in the dark about the intricacies of most of Stadium funding , etc., the whys. wherefores ,but isnt NY State the one assisting with the funding of the new stadium? The proposed law is a Fed thing. Again , am clueless if/how this would affect the Bills plans.
  18. Been a Bills fan since 1960, was 8 when my father took me to the Bills /Broncos game at WMS.. Loved it all, the sights, smells, all of it. First favorite player was Richie Lucas, a big hotshot QB , who never really lived up to his rep coming out of college. The memories are many, my loyalty, love has been there since. I grew up in South Buffalo and used to ride my bike to the REGENCY in Blasdell to watch them practice in the late 60's. OJ actually was there, but they moved it shortly after. I , like many on here , have seen it all, the highs, lows, but i must say , the loss to KC tore my heart out worse than any..I left the area in 2008 to be closer to my grandchildren and joined this site, which i have found to be most enjoyable to say the least.. I am more of an onlooker, than an active participant .
  19. Yes.. just an opinion, but growing up and watching both the AFL and NFL in the sixties, early seventies,do not recall anything close to the dialogue fans have now about the officiating.. it was kind of "seen and not heard"..
  20. I get the "gist " of your concern. My only problem, like most , is the officiating.. wont go deep in the weeds, but the officiating in the Tampa and Titan's game this year seemed to cost the Bills . Every team can say the same. Is the answer full-time officials? i am not sure. Wish there was a way to get a more perfect system.,,.
  21. I agree , but needed anything to give me reason to watch.. the Bills loss took it out of me
