  1. Nice.. i got to assume you are a bit old, like me..
  2. Of course.. Obviously , didnt go there about the financial aspects , assumed that , but in a "football sense" feel a bit bad
  3. Again.. scouts must have missed that .. IE :bad arm
  4. I agree , just saying , bad luck, or no skill set, whatever, , feel a bit bad ,thats all.
  5. I am quite sure I am in the minority , but Peterman just seemed like a victim of "bad luck" , for lack of a better term, in the SD game. Stuff happens, maybe he just "doesnt have it" , but so be it.. easy to pile on..
  6. Obviously hate to see him go, was hoping it could be worked out that he could come back.,. looking back, as others have said, the penalties, some ill-timed , so be it.., his passion was refreshing , to say the least
  7. As for Barkley holding, it was just a thought , relax..
  8. I know Keenum is the solid #2 , but it depends what value they place on the hold .
  9. I agree , used to get into it back in the day, but way too much hype, overkill..
  10. I can agree about Saban and his history.. but i just cant accept that Harvey Johnson and Joel Collier Independent of Ralph , pulled this off.. And again, im not a"Blame Ralph" guy at all
  11. In this case i do believe he played a part because i believe Harvey Johnson was a GM in name only.. i could be wrong. but one got the impression after Saban left it was because of his inability to get along with Ralph. I am not a guy who historically would "blame Ralph" as was prevalent back then, just an assumption in this situation.
  12. Kemp was more or less the Man , but whenever he stumbled , Lamonica would get the call. Joel Collier was the coach. Who made the decision to trade him? not sure .. maybe it was Ralph
  13. Remember that well.. wasnt a loud chant.. just more of consensus type thing at any given time as warranted.
  14. Wow. another man who became Bill , and was such a part of us who were kids worshipping the Bills back then.. passes away.. Tough .. R I P. Daryle
  15. He actually did, in the early AFL years , he did the AFL exclusively.. later he went To CBS i believe after the merger .
  16. Actually, being an old guy, i remember Joe Buck's late father, Jack Buck.. who was quite good ..
  17. 1)Charlie Jones .. 2)Ray Scott ("Starr, Dowler, Touchdown").. 3)Curt Gowdy)
  18. Seriously.. who gives a Sh--t , let it go..
  19. Well said.. tired of reading about what outside "Economists" think about taxpayer funded stadiums.. its predictable and tiresome..
  20. I was 8 at the rockpile in 60.. tough to narrow to 5.. but not in any particular order..1)-AFL 1964 Stratton hit game.. 2)Monday night 1974 Raider game.. Rashad TD.. 3)Houston comeback game obviously, .. 4)Charlie Ferguson catching a TD from Kemp in 1963 with 28 seconds left to beat the PATS .. 5)will put a loss in there that hurts as much as the 13 seconds.. 1981 Bills v Chargers.. playoff game.. Chas Romes drops a sure interception that seals it.. instead Fouts hits Ron Smith for the TD. Had the Bills won.. they would have hosted the Raiders in the AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME..
  21. Quite sure i am in the minority , but why are so many fixated on the fact that having more than one thread on a particular subject is a negative thing?
  22. I agree , this pretty much seals it .. until this, you never could be sure..
