I really hope Fournette is up to speed for this Bengals game. He's going to be the difference in the way the Bengals play defense. Wanna see if Bengals cheat their safeties up on the line of scrimmage

The man ran a 4.5 40 at 240 lbs. That's not slow!! His ability to impose his will on DBs/LBs trying to tackle him one on one is a part of the game you can't take lightly. The playaction and RPO game is going to make the LBs hesitate dropping into coverage opening up the middle of the field for Kincaid/Shakir. This was a down low shrewd move by the Bills. We should see his immediate impact on defenses if he's up to speed in the Bengals game.

Week 3, 2022, Tre didn't play.

Like other posters said, he played well toward the end of last season and held his own against Tyreek Hill whom some consider the best receiver in the game today. We've seen McDermott get rid of very capable players for various unknown reasons (Wyatt Teller, Zack Moss, Zay Jones). And hold on to some not so good players (Peterman, Ford).

He was beating Dane Jackson too. I'm surprised how some expected Elam to play like Deion Sanders while he hasn't played basically since the preseason. And unless he's practicing against Diggs, there's not another receiver on the Bills roster that run routes like Ridley. I consider that game for Elam a one off

I'd like to add decision making as well. Like who decides who's on the field in certain situations, personnel on the field? Who decides when to throw the challenge flag? Who decides when to go for it on 4th and short and what play to run in those situations? All of these things bothered me the other night!! I believe the players love how he handles things off the field. The way he responded to the Damar Hamlin situation was second to none. It's the stuff on the field that MAYBE they question 🤷

Let's see if he plays this week. If King Henry/DHop are inactive this week, then there's smoke

So McDermott could sit him on the bench? I'd highly doubt that if the Bills acquired a top notch CB, that McDermott would sit either Jackson or Benford.
