  1. There are a lot of places in DC I have never heard of either, so no big deal. Baltimore is full of diners and other great spots for good eats... I'm a big Greek foodie, and if anyone wants some outstanding Greek food, let me know.
  2. What in the hell is that supposed to mean? Wow.. just wow. seriously??? Get over this race BS. A dog is a dog, plain and simple.
  3. And I am getting SICK of all of the LOSING that is going on... don't you think that is just a BIT frustrating??!?!? Ohh, I guess not... all we are supposed to do is sit back and medicate. NO THANKS!
  4. Without Ralph Wilson, there never would have been ANY Buffalo Bills or any pro football in Buffalo, period. Don't ever forget that. Bill Polian was and is one of the greatest GMs in NFL history- how is it possible to replace someone like that? We won in 1999 and 2000 with Bill Polian's players as anchors for the team and one of the best defenses in the league to cover for our lack of offense. Now, we don't have that defense to cover our sad offense and we suffer. Just because Ralph Wilson can't manage as an owner doesn't mean he doesn't care, and he knows how badly it has gotten, but in the end he's in the fading twilight of life and soon it will be someone else's team. Patience is what we need in this dark time until the inevitable sale comes. Even though it SUCKS, it has to be that way- Ralph just can't make the right call, plain and simple.
  5. If you want to eat one of the BEST breakfasts you have ever had in your life, head on over to Miss Shirley's Cafe on Pratt Street: http://www.missshirleys.com/ It is on the expensive side, but it is so worth it- and don't let the "Cafe" name mislead you- it is first class!
  6. Peters=Posluszny, i.e. no good if they aren't on the field.
  7. PETERS - constantly injured bust in Philly. DOCKERY - benched in favor of a greener offensive lineman. We actually IMPROVED our offensive line by getting rid of those overpriced bums. Only losing INCOGNITO really made a difference. Talk about rocks...!
  8. Why don't you leave if they are that bad, and you are sick of hearing former Bills players talk? I'm sure another team like the Eagles or the Jets could use your cynical attitude... we'd be better off not having you as a Bills fan anyways if you can't appreciate what DT was trying to say- very rude.
  9. Nobody has the stones to draft offensive linemen in bulk; they would rather go for flash and speed, obviously. The days of drafting a Fina or a Ruben Brown have passed the Bills by.
  10. Yeah, all of that glorious history and names like Wagner, the Waners, Traynor, Clemente, Stargell, and now we're stuck with crap. Matt Morris was a Dave Littlefield knife and twist signing that was his last putrid hurrah. Ralph does care about winning, but his decision making is terrible, and to our detriment. Ever since he chose the finance guy over Polian, we have been sliding down and down. Owens at least was an attempt which could have worked out had we supported him, but the Pirates don't sign quality guys, only bargain basement guys like Iwamura. We're born to be argumentative when it comes to losing teams- we're angry, hungry, and tired of B.S. I don't fault you AT ALL Buck Showalter was a great move... and your club has a lot of talent that was thrown away the first months of the season- I live 20 mins from Camden Yards, and trust me, I know what you have in Baltimore and it isn't the chump change we have!! LOL You have hope... we don't even have a small crumb of hope!
  11. 1. You don't have a running game if you don't attempt runs. 2. Jauron didn't build that secondary- Fewell's schemes built that secondary along with Jairus Byrd's stellar play. Today, Byrd has dissapeared off the radar and Fewell is gone.
  12. One great game in 4? Are you serious? He has been largely invisible, and shows up once... that is not a valid comparison. We didn't bring him back for a VALID reason- he drops the ball way too much for what we paid for his services.
  13. TOTAL BS. It is not the fault of the other teams in the NFL that the Bills have made horrible personnel decisions over the last decade and a half. We made our bed, and now we are lying in it. These excuses only perpetuate a lie- how else does New Orleans win the Super Bowl, with all of the money their market has?? COME ON, MAN!! We're paying for the sins of the past and present... point the finger at our team, not others!!!!
  14. I AM in this boat too!!! I thought I was the only 2 laughingstock franchise fan out there! The Bills can't be considered to be like the Pirates for these reasons: 1. No matter how bad the people that come in do, Ralph Wilson cares about wins and losses, unlike Nutting. 2. The city of Buffalo is dependent upon the Bills, while the Pirates are just an afterthought these days in Pittsburgh. 3. The Bills are willing to sign quality free agents to supplement what little young talent we have, unlike the Pirates. Comparing the Bills to the Pirates isn't fair... being a Pirates fan is THE worst fan experience in the game- little veteran talent, won't sign young talent that develops and would rather ship them off, owner takes the revenue sharing money and pockets it, contract extension for a horrible manager, no salary cap. I AM in the pit of despair if you add my New York Knicks. ALL I HAVE IS THE BUFFALO SABRES out of FOUR sports!!! So there you are... and guess what? I'm STILL a fan of ALL FOUR... I haven't quit.
  15. NO, if you remember our FIRST game against the Dolphins, he did the same THING. Hence, he tried him again, and he failed again, and so he's not the starter as a normal RB. Man, I didn't think it would be hard to comprehend.
  16. Did you not watch the passing play in the first half where the Jets called a blitz, and Spiller totally missed his pickup? After that play, Marshawn was back in at RB lined up behind Fitz. THAT is why- he just is not a very good blocker when we need a blocking RB to provide protection. ANSWERED!
  17. OL QB OL OL OL LB OL (Do you see the theme here? keep drafting offensive linemen until we get some that can play)
  18. Jim Rome and Rick Reilly in a tie. Both are smug, arrogant, and full of themselves.
  19. The Dean Clear evidence that "blah blah blah" or the Charlie Brown teacher track can be inserted for the text above.
  20. This is a move by conservatives... you know, the bottom line, squash any forms of protest or creativity that doesn't conform...!! This guy is probably loaded and driving a custom Mercedes and has a large portfolio, since the decision rests with him, put 2 and 2 together better than THAT.
  21. 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - T BILLS 3 - 0 - 3 - 7 - 13 PACKERS 7 - 17 - 10 - 3 - 37 Edwards 6/15, 85 yards, 1 INT, 2 FL (left with injury) Brohm 9/20, 143 yards, 2 INT, 1 TD Spiller 9/65 Jackson 6/40
  22. GCobb.com: "Now that the Eagles have shuffled their roster to get younger, the move for Peters looks to make little sense. They could’ve drafted Michael Oher (who’s starting for the highly favored Baltimore Ravens) which would’ve been a longer term deal. It also would’ve made more financial sense. I don’t think an offensive line anchored by Jason Peters is going to earn any quarterback’s full trust. Because of that, as long as Peters is an Eagle we’ll never get to give a fair assessment on Kolb whether it’s good or bad." My link
  23. Makes Billy Joe Hobert look like a real NFL quarterback.... *FLUSH* Horrible passing game = 8, 9 men in the box = fully clogged running lanes Who is to blame for this fiasco? Edwards! By the way, I do believe Roscoe Parrish scored the TD.
  24. Don't you DARE leave off Trent Edwards, Mr. Keep the Defense in "9 Men In The Box".
  25. In college, he most certainly was- that's what I was referring to... to clarify
