Peters has been just as hurt as Bell has been, and he costs MUCH more!!!! Come on, no smoke and mirrors...

Mostly decent numbers???? Decent as in average... our teams made the playoffs by our DEFENSE, and any Bills fan worth their salt will be honest there. Moulds wouldn't have HAD to act like anything other than a class act WR because his QB is Peyton Manning!!!! I mean you just proved my point- when you have a great offensive brain trust and QB, you're gold if you have skills like Moulds. Could you imagine Marvin Harrison being pulled over in Buffalo ala Marshawn Lynch? Marvin Harrison could have easily been charged with premeditated murder, I mean come on.. poor example... poor.

Sometimes I wonder why people have to put the failures of the whole team on the best player when they are surrounded by mostly average or worse talent. He deserved better, and like other great Bills of the past who suffered, will never be fully recognized by anyone outside of the fan base. Examples like Jerry Butler and Greg Bell come to mind- who could imagine working your butt off for year after year, only to see dreams crushed and the agony of losing eat up your soul despite the talent?
-
That's extremely petty, considering all of the BS Eric had to put up with over the years. He deserved a lot better and there were plenty of frustration moments from our HOFers and future HOFers.

You all can bash Ralph Wilson all you want to, but the Buffalo Bills are STILL in WNY. He could have sold the team and it could have moved to LA or Toronto, but did it? NO. No matter how bad the team has gone since the 1990s, we still have a team to B word about, and for that I am grateful. I can wait for the new ownership to get us back to where we once were and to win a Super Bowl, but I'm not going to jump on the bash Ralph Wilson bandwagon. -

Marvin Miller ruined baseball, so it is not surprising that we're inundated with labor nonsense in sports. I like the old days where you had owners, and you either played and got paid for what you were worth or you didn't play, point blank. All this labor talk makes me sick. Let's just play some football already!! -
I would HIGHLY recommend this game due to the vastly increased gameplay and the deep Dynasty options with OC/DC/HC, conference realignment/creation/naming, and recruiting system. I would also recommend that EA really tweak the penalties in these NCAA games- hardly any penalties are called, and so far after a full season there has been NO defensive penalties called on the opposing team, no offsides, no false starts. I hate having to tweak them myself just to get the game to be realistic. Ohh, and to add: download the rosters from gamertag pastapadre if you have Xbox 360 and GamingTailgate for PS3. If they aren't available yet, they soon will be- the best rosters guy in gaming. XBox NCAA 12 method: Team Management – Roster Share – Download Roster – Download Roster

If Poz leaves, will you be upset??
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Scrappy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Please provide examples of players that we let go or left for another team that were REALLY GOOD or GREAT at the peak of their career. This list is a very short one, and so I can't believe this statement. Pat Williams and Jim Leonhard are my top two big mistakes, period. Clements was overpaid IMO... -

You over value the LB position with the stronger D-line we now have. Poz doesn't have to do nearly as much with upgrades. All of his liabilities deal with the injuries he continues to sustain. -
I agree, and I don't think he deserves to be on the Wall because he chose to alienate himself from so many people and it wasn't just Ralph Wilson he had problems with. I wish the other problems wouldn't be overlooked just because of Ralph.

I just got it today, so if you want to get in on the online dynasty, my XBox name is XDoctor NoX, just like it is typed. Awesome!

A Country of takers not makers

Maybe if they would quit contracting out a lot of the work to civilian bureaucrats and let the military run the show, we wouldn't have to shell out billions to prop up worthless GS workers and others who make a living sitting at a desk asking others what the right answers are. -

The French are now in full scale warrior mode, and now finally the morons can each french fries, drink French wines, and eat French cheese without going batshit. Where's my cognac? I'm not just pissed at him for that, but for opening up Atlantic drilling offshore, not lifting the Cuban embargo, and free spending into oblivion like the Democrats were accused of before Clinton. He's damn lucky the GOP has no viable candidate and scorns Donald Trump, or he'd lose. War or no war, as a progressive he has made me angry on several occasions.

Will you watch the CFL or UFL?
EasternOHBillsFan replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, it is not misplaced, because the players in the past signed deals to play football and they knew the risks involved.... the NFL didn't HAVE to help, but they chose to after a successful lobby and ponied up the money. The players act as if they were oblivious to the risks, but when you are young you tend to think of yourself as invincible. They signed the dotted line and accepted the deals, no questions asked, and played. After that, suddenly $80 million is 'peanuts'? Give me a break! The owners have to engage in revenue sharing to keep the league balanced and thriving, and teams don't fake it like the Pirates or Marlins in MLB. The greed is on the shoulders of the players, who want more and more while the percentage of players that are guilty of misconduct rises and rises. Unions have been increasingly irrelevant, and only have power through the courts. This was NEVER about taking care of veterans' health issues... it is about pure greed, because even if the NFL offered $800 million to health care, they STILL would decertify! Demaurice Smith is an absolute joke... just like Donald Fehr before him with the MLBPA. -

EasternOHBillsFan replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am 100% behind the owners in this one- they have lived up to their end by trying to guarantee veterans who have been injured are taken care of, and yet all of this comes down to money according to the union. The union went through this charade just to force the NFL into opening their books, as if they are investors or from the SEC. I am sick to death of players wanting millions of dollars a year in contracts, only to bilk owners out of their money later by engaging in off the field conduct and forcing them to recoup the money they paid out. More and more players are doing this, and even the ones who don't get into trouble are getting more and more lucrative contracts. To summarize, screw the trade union of the NFLPA under Demaurice Smith and their greed. The current system keeps ALL NFL franchises above water and enables the players to make all the money they do. When the NFL reached out and supported the veterans with regards to health care, that to me was the final move the owners had to make. Now, Mr. Smith, you and your lawyers have ruined a perfectly good situation. -
While millions of Americans die due to the effects of cancer and other wretched diseases, some of the most intelligent minds in America are writing algorithms for computers intended to replace human beings, passing tests on Jeopardy. I am most certainly NOT amused... no wonder we've lost our edge to other developed countries.
