  1. In a who to fire thread I said I believe this is the place to start. Even with more better weapons Daboll is not the man for the job. He doesn’t have the experience or expertise to mentor Allen, build a dominant Offense (like Andy Reid), or take us to the top. You (metaphorically speaking) may say but he won at Alabama and has a ring with NE. Those teams didn’t win because of him, they won because he worked for two of the best in the business. Daboll is an out of position, position coach.
  2. Starting Peterman is indicative of trying to limit turnovers? Is that like a little pregnant?
  3. Agreed. Ripping the Band-aid off can get the wound infected.
  4. Until Pegs says otherwise McBeane is in charge. McDermott has a young defense playing well. He should just take a page from Quinn and McVay and look for the best possible candidate not necessarily the most politically correct for lack of a better term. I think he puts non football ideology ahead of the gridiron X’s and O’s.
  5. Daboll should go, and let the new OC decide who he wants as position coaches. Daboll may have won with Saban and Belichick but they didn’t win because of him. While watching Atlanta/Washington, the analyst talked about how Quinn had turned the offense over to his OC since it wasn’t his area of expertise. McDermott/Beane need to take a similar approach with a true OC, and not a glorified position coach.
  6. Right on track at the mid point. 4-12
  7. I am not of the fan of the process as in terms of the way this rebuild has gone. I ask the question what does this do to the psychology of the players? These men are alphas who have spent their lives pursuing victory. Please don’t try and tell me the defense doesn’t look across the locker room and wonder what are we doing here?
  8. This offense isn’t desperate?
  9. Take Wisconsin’s OL and Ole Miss’s WRs
  10. Why don’t you just make it the Peter Pole?
  11. Some people don’t understand the premise of debates. Facts are secondary to deflection and innuendo.
  12. O-lines are overrated Why are some people in such denial about this? These wounds are self inflicted and unnecessary.
  13. Missing out on getting the crap beat out of him? That kind of knowledge is priceless
  14. Shoulda, woulda, coulda
  15. Stats are window dressing. The proof is in the pudding. It is called wins and losses. How many games this year have been blow outs? This is not an elite defense.
  16. Not part of the process. McDermott likes retreads so he isn’t upstaged.
  17. Here is content for you. Buffalo has the worst offense in the league and potentially the worst in the modern era. This is a FACT. There is no conjecture, no speculation and no hyperbole in that statement. Here is another FACT. There are a number of individuals, Todd Gurley being one of them, that have more yards and TDs than the entire Buffalo offense. Oh and by the way this regime not only drafted Peterman but trotted him out after the worst performance ever by a quarterback passing the football. That is indicative of this regime having very little knowledge about offense and what it takes to compete in today’s NFL. And we will be graced by his presence this weekend under center because McBean chose to rip the band-aid off and take a close to a 10 million cap hit on Taylor and McCarron. He made the sandwich. Enjoy your bite.
  18. I went 4-0 on my hot picks last week maybe I should take this under advisement this week.
  19. Sorry those are like Super Bowl losers merch that goes to kids in places that have never heard of the NFL
  20. The more things change the more they stay the same.
