I agree with most of it and it all comes back to the front office. Remember last off season, this was THE YEAR Ralph was going to get some top flight people. The GM searched landed in house and 70 year old "football man" Buddy Nix. Then the coach search, only to be left scratching your head when Chan was announced. Sure you were thinking Cowher...who could of brought in Gailey as offensive coordinator, but no, Chan was our head coach. The Bills couldnt land the big fish. With Chan the offensive is certainly improved, but Chan brought in the D coordinator and were 5 points behind the record pace of the 1981 Colts for most points given up in a season. Thats how bad our defense is, it's working on historic bad. To the draft. Who would of thought, knowing that we had Lynch and Fred, and with all our holes, that this draft would produce a 6 carry a game runningback, and minimal playing backups. The off season, Dwan-fine, Cornell "are you serious" Green. So 1 year in, color me not impressed by good ole Buddy. I dont care what way they go in the draft, but if its a QB, they better be as damned certain as you can be that this is THE guy. Otherwise go front 7 defense with a lot of new linebackers and some type of edge rusher. Seems like we've jettisoned some payroll, didnt resign TO, Shobel gone, Lynch trade, Hardy cut, McCargo will be gone, etc so there should be money to spend. So if we dont bring in some impact FA's next off season, then you'll know Nix doesnt have a clue. To me, it looks like meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

You should read the chat from the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle guys, they say beyond Maybin sucking, he also has no football instincts. Those guys would cut him. Maybin better take this criticism to heart, get stronger in the office season and come in with Cameron Wake intensity or this guy will be pumping gas next fall. Aaron you wont get invited to all the good parties when your playing for Winnipeg.

It is amazing how devoid of talent this team is and it's indisputable this team is worse than the mid 80s teams that had Bruce, Talley, and others in place. Modraks scouting is now defying the law of averages that you would hit on draft choices, especially when we have drafted in the top half of the draft for 10 years. Maybe he should move to Buffalo and watch some of these stiffs practice to see where he went wrong. Modrak AND Kelsay both must have compromising pictures of Ralph to stay.

The kool-aid drinkers never think it's modrak's fault. He was always overruled on every decision and his scouting dept never wrote wrote glowing scouting reports on McCargo, Whitner, Maybin, JP, Hardy, etc. I wouldnt let Modrak scout for my local catholic high school.

Maybin I can see considering his age and the money we have invested in him, McCargo I have no idea.

Not too many QBs are going to win when your defense is giving up over 200 yards rushing a game.

I honestly would take a knowledgeble fan to run this organization over the keystone cop jokes we've had running this team for 10 years. There is no defense for this organization---none. They suck plain and simple. The 84-85 teams had more talent than this group of losers. I sick to death of people defending Modrak, just stop it, his drafting record is what it is. Like his scouts didnt comeback with glowing reports on the stiffs we drafted. How anyone could get excited when we settled for Foghorn Leghorn Nix, who has never been a GM, and Chan Gailey, is beyond me. This team doesnt know how to scout, draft, trade, manage money, or hire coaches. Football is one of the few businesses where you can make money, while being completely incompetant, simply by being part of the NFL.

Or Julio Jones or AJ Green at WR or Clayborn at DE.
