  1. Are we holding it at a turnstile somewhere?
  2. Can we take the kid gloves off EJ? He's a guy only the Bills had rated that high. We took him in the first round when the smart money said he would go much later. We've surrounded him with a great stable of runningbacks, we mortgaged next years no. 1 for the top wr in the draft and traded for caveman Mike, Woods is good. This is most likely the best receiving core we've had in a decade. We added 4 new lineman in free agency and the draft. Now we added Palmer who can be more support for him in addition to the coaches added for him in the off season. Our defense is solid. It's the NFL, time to put your big boy pants on. So either take the next step or your holding back the other players on this team and wasting our time.
  3. If he sticks who goes Thad or Tuel?
  4. Tannehill seems like the next young QB to take the next step ala Dalton, their running game will be improved with Moreno(Lamar Miller stinks) and as for having a suspect OL....join the club.
  5. I think EJs athleticism and running ability is overrated by most on this board. He doesnt make a quick decision like a Wilson or Kap, who see a hole and take off. He doesnt have the strength of a Big Ben. Nick Foles had a better YPC than EJ last year, on similar attempts and I dont think much of his running ability.
  6. I'll go with recent history 6-10--Again and no first rounder next year....good times. @Chicago Loss. Host Miami Loss. Host San D. Loss @Houston Win @Detroit Loss Host Pats* Loss. Host Vikes. Win @Jets Loss Host KC. Win @Miami. Loss. Host Jets. Win. Host Browns. Win. Denver. . Loss Host GB Loss @Raiders Win At pats * Loss.
  7. I agree Bill Polian. With new ownership coming, give Buddy the boot and hire Polian as a consultant.
  8. Further proof that Buddy Nix was in over his head, thank god he's still a consultant for us.
  9. His twitter handle should be changed to Glass Goodwin..
  10. I dont think either Manuel or Hackett is going to take this team where we want to go. The more I watch EJ the more I see Jason Campbell 2.0.
  11. I dont know exactly where Hairston is with the return from illness but I just wonder what an OL of Henderson/Hairston at the tackles, Glenn and Urbik at G and Wood at C could do.
  12. It seems like Marrone and Hackett Jr have done less with more when compared to Chan. I dont see the OL being coached up(wasnt Marrone an OL), seems like the same old crap from last year, cant get the ball in the endzone, cant run in short yardage. No imagination when it comes to using Spiller, etc. As for Whaley he better be active after cuts to find this team a capable back-up QB.
  13. And anybody this side of Buddy NIx knew Kolb was made of glass and had his toughness questioned by opponents. He was a terrible signing.
  14. Whaley saying this team likes competition everywhere is a joke when it comes to the QB position. Especially when your 2 and 3 guys were both undrafted FAs, one of which had 4 wins in 26 games and the other was traded for LB Chris White. And this aint your Daddys NFL, this is the pass happy NFL and these backups are just about/are the worst in the league.
  15. Couldnt agree more.....Chan wasnt some savant, just a guy who does know somethings about offensive football. And getting Spiller in space is a no-brainer. But if Hackett Jr. cant do that then maybe he is an idiot.
  16. Same here, put up some great yardage and TDs seasons, I dont think we miss Stevie at all. With Wood a no.3, we have a really nice receiving core.
  17. To have 2 young developing tackles both stricken with personal health problems............... out of the blue, is pretty Billsesque
  18. Yes, anybody who has watched the Bills the last 14 years should know not to second guess the front office when it comes to evaluating QBs.
  19. 3 reasons.....poor front office....bad coaching hires.....no QB.
  20. Those 2 for me as well. They summed up the new century Bills, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
  21. Well on the bright side, he's driving down the price on his next long term contract.
  22. Good for all these surgeries. Nothing more frustrating than having some key player put off surgery hoping it will heal, then by August realizes rest didnt cure the problem and he gets the surgery and misses half the season.
  23. People on this board spend hours weekly here, do yourself a favor and spend 1 hour online and look into stop and frisk in NYC. Imagine if alcohol stayed in your system for a month or 2 instead of hours. Spend sometime researching how many people the land of free have in prison compared to other countries. See the relationship of the for profit prison corporate world paired with the prison gaurd unions. They both have the same goal, more prisoners means more profit, more union jobs. I say this as a union member, but I can see hypocrisy. Actually I dont buy the slippery slope arguement. It's not about your teenager legally buying heroin or cocaine, that's not going to happen. It's about coming to the rationalization that someone taking a few hits off a doobie in his home or around a camp fire, is not much different, and no menace to society, as the guy having a few beers at the legion, VFW or local bar.
