I would be up for getting rid of the color rush. Maybe create an alternate kit that is a throwback to the 90s to be used 1 game a season. The Bills' uniforms are pretty classy and honestly should never change. I was skeptical of the white helmet when they made that change, but it is a great look.

If Allen asks for a new staff he should get it.

Are we assuming that Josh Allen doesnt want McDermott as head coach? I think that is a pretty large assumption. *If* Allen went to ownership asking for a different direction, I think ownership should consider that. -
Red helmet is ugly.

Will there be any shock organizational moves in the coming days/weeks?

I will say. If you can trade draft assets for a proven pass rusher in his prime. I think you do it at this point. -

I agree with this, or at least hope Smiley is sent packing. So many special teams gaffes that are inexcusable. No reason for any player shakeups before the league calendar starts. -
That is true. But the Bills disadvantaged themselves having to play for their lives for like 9 weeks. KC had their spot locked up, got a nice rest, and also got a nice draw of a Miami team who quit in the cold. Buffalo also had all sorts of scheduling nonsense with the snow and were terribly banged up for the game. I think having 1 team get the treasure-trove of the #1 seed in each Conference is terrible competitive balance, especially with how variable a team's schedule and division may be over #s 2-3. It doesn't guarantee success, but having the bye/free wild card win, an easier divisional game, and home field for the AFCCG is a huge leg up.

I wonder if Cook got hurt on that acrobatic TD run? It is the only explanation for the foolery that followed on offense.

Would you watch a "Consolation" Bowl?
May Day 10 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would probably watch it if it were the bills, but I'm sure it would be a half hearted exhibition. -
They need a legit disruptor on the D-Line. A disruptor I think would free-up Rousseau IMO too. Chris Jones is probably KC's most important player. If the Bills had Chris Jones instead of the Chiefs I wonder if it is the Bills going for a threepeat

We are currently negative 2.5 mill in cap space for 2025

I agree with you. Needs to be some major changes. Not sure McDermott will change his stripes though. Having a process guy like Hamlin is great. Team player, learns the scheme inside and out, well spoken, wears his giant mushroom helmet cover.... but if he is one of the slowest players on the field and has the physique of a high schooler, getting dragged into the end zone by Mahomes, he doesnt do me any good. I like Rapp, but Im over him with his injuries. -

The problem with letting Benford go is... he is pretty much all they have in the secondary. There is almost nobody to fill his role, and I am of the opinion that even with Benford, they need at least a starting safety and a #2 and #3 corners. -
I really think it is. These teams are evenly matched, and KC gets the edges and gets to come in healthier and at home. The Bills got the home game last year, but they had to play in survival mode for like 8 weeks, while KC got to rest and a cake-walk against Miami in the WC round. The Bills were extremely depleted on defense... But. The counterpoint to all that is that the offense and Josh Allen had the ball in the past 2 playoff matchups vs the Chiefs with a chance to kill the clock and score a touchdown and they failed. You see Mahomes and Brady finish those drives and killing their opponents over and over. I do think Allen/offense deserve a degree of the blame for not getting it done in these moments... But. They did get it done a few years ago and were set to host the AFCCG, but 13 seconds happened. It is maddening and going to be a long offseason, and a long season, hoping for hopefully another run at this.

I think if they do that after 6/1, they can have like $16 Million from cutting Miller, but the $9 Million would go to 2026. I wonder if they do that -
The problem is, the owner they have would probably hire Jim Kelly or something like that

If the Chiefs win another Super Bowl...
May Day 10 replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think making 4 in a row sits by itself. The Chiefs already surpassed the 90s Bills in every way. If they make the Superbowl next year, the 90s Bills will be diminished in their own category, and we cant even have that -

No. there isnt much shine to losing 4 in a row as compared to winning several. -
No idea who you are hiring if you get rid of McDermott. I would turf the special teams coach

Need to improve the safety position. Hamlin is not physically adequate, and Rapp is oft injured. Need a few corners too (value guys that McDermott can sprinkle his magic on). Also need surgery on the front 6. Too small and not physical enough. I would like to get the offense a weapon. Keep hollins he plays an important role. Need to

Basically this. They need a lot of work on the defense. Bass redeemed himself and seems to be right. WR seems to be the only need on offense. Hamlin is the first that needs to go. Rapp is also injured too much. Douglas is on the wrong side of 30. The front 7 is undersized and lacks the physical jam that good defenses have.

Joe Brady and Aaron Kromer had a rough night

I agree with everything other than the daboll part. He had run his course here. They had some putrid outings that last year
