  1. Practice Squad Injured Reserve. That's a new one for me. Is that a special category to hide someone late in the year?
  2. Last year it was the DC, this year the OC.. getting closer to Harbaugh's head on the chopping block..
  3. I gave my vote to Pederson.. Pretty remarkable turn around there.
  4. Would not shock me at all to see a heavy dose of Mixon and Perine. For all the shoot out potential of this game, I would imagine both teams want to control clock and limit possessions.
  5. All this incessant back and forth about Allen v Burrows needs to stop. They are both talented QBs. Pretty sure this game will be decided by whose DLINE plays better. Both OLINEs are suspect.
  6. I don't think he has necessarliy stopped. My sense is when the play is essential, Josh will attempt to run. Miami baited him last week and he took the cheese. I don't see any of the remaining teams electing to do that. With every play essentially critical to advancing, I would expect Josh to be running more.
  7. These late season moves are head scratchers. What could possible be achieved by replacing 3rd string players who know the playbook and have practiced with the team all season for some 3rd stringers who have not?
  8. He looked pitiful. And I'm here for it.
  9. After watching Baltimore v Cincinnati would it make sense to play 3DL and 3 LBs and 5 DBs? Flood short zone passes with hands and date them to run Mixon?
  10. I think objectively looking at it, the Ravens have better depth/talent in the secondary. That is the edge I give them. They also benefit from playing them twice yearly and now three times this year (twice in two weeks). So they have their tendencies down.
  11. I have all the respect in the word for Tom Brady. I just hate him..
  12. Not the impression I get. I watched an extended interview between Cowherd and Joey B. Joe is as even keel as they come. He thoughtfully considers his answers to every question. He seems so inflappable. Great quality for a QB. He is going to be a good one for a long time.
  13. I was at the game. It was the loudest game I’ve ever been to. There were a ton of Bills fans there. Every play was being cheered by one side or the other. It was electric until it wasn’t.
  14. Yep the NFL knows the Bills are must see TV. They simply play the wildest games of any team, week in, week out. That was why there was no 4th down measurement. 😈 No need to risk it..
  15. I'm a hard pass. Dipped that toe in the Miami TE market once before.. And we all know how that went. Why pay premium for a TE when college is full of them?
  16. I was having this discussion with my son today. He made the point that based on style of play, the Bills won't win it all. I countered with this: They have played pretty much the way we saw on Sunday ALL season. They are 14-3 playing that way. It's very Farve-ian. They had road wins in Baltimore and Kansas City and two late season wins against Miami. Their three loses were by a combined 8 points and they had a chance to win all three of those games had a bounce here or there gone differently. I do not expect a "clean" game from them. They press the ball down field and that leads to mistakes. But it has worked all season long and tigers don't change their stripes. So sit back and enjoy it. Would I be more comfortable with Von, sure, do they still have enough to take it to any team left, absolutely. And with Cincy in Buffalo and the winner of KC/Jax either neutral or in Buffalo, they have a great chance to go to the SB. The 8 game win streak is NOT a fluke. This is a good team that is willing their way to the bowl againtst all threats foreign, domestic, environmental and medical.
  17. Caught me off guard too. Two thoughts. Ravens held their offense in check. LT went down making that 3 of 5 starters out in two weeks.
  18. Should be an interesting game plan this week. I don't get the sense that Cincy modifies their offensive game plan week-to-week. Hopefully Buffalo facing Hill and Waddle twice in four weeks have paid some coverage dividends. The DLINE needs to get home. Would really love to see a ball control, clock eating set of drives from Buffalo. Practice this week, because if it works, you are going to need it again the following week.
  19. My son told me this. Said he did it last year too and didn't miss a game. I guess it depends if he tore anything. I would imagine they need to wait for the swelling to go down first to determine extent.
  20. I am O-for-the-season in predicting this correctly, so I confidently press on with: Reid Ferguson. I predict he completes all long snaps without issue.
