  1. A woman too .. she was hungry …..
  2. Supposed to have bad hands - though sounds coachable. Would he be BPA at the top of round #1? Also WR’s generally take 2-3 years to develop.
  3. Would the Hawks trade Metcalf? This is a highly unlikely scenario for many reasons - salary cap, impact to Diggs and likelihood that the Hawks just don’t let him go are at the top of the list. However, there are some uncertainties regarding Metcalf future in Seattle. As for me, If the Bills could get him for a 1st and a 4th I would say do it all day long every day. Could you imagine the nightmare matchups created with Diggs, Metcalf and Knox in the game as your base set? You have all combinations of size, speed, route running, ability to play at every level and Josh heaving the rock.
  4. Not true, 40 times for the Bills WR’s / TE’s: Emmanuel Sanders 4.41 Isaiah McKenzie - 4.42 Marquez Stevenson - 4.45 Stephon Diggs - 4.46 Cole Beasley 4.49 Gabriel Davis - 4.54 Dawson Knox 4.59 Isaiah Hodgkins - 4.61 Granted, Sanders has likely lost some of the top end speed - Diggs is only marginally slower than McKenzie - and is known to be able to take the top end off of D’s
  5. Speed alone does not get it done. Marquise Goodwin had one of the NFL’s fastest 40 times but his durability was questionable during his Buffalo Bills time. As Beane said in his press conference, “track stars are not necessarily football players.” Tyreek Hill is a matchup challenge but it is not due to speed alone. Also remember that the Bills have Marquez Stevens 100 percentile three cone drill on the roster. He does not have the 40 of Tyreek but he has speed and shiftiness that is combined considered other worldly. You have to wonder if the Bills have on their roster already or will identify a matchup nightmare in this year’s draft.
  6. Beane hinted a little bit at priorities for the offseason. The following might be his list: 1) Replace Dabol or Frazier if they are hired away into a HC’ing position 2) CB position including #2 and depth - especially since there is still no clarity as to when Tre will be back to form I think the two above were extremely clear from his comments. The next three are debatable: 3) Interior O-line 4) Defensive front - especially the interior 5) Depth at TE As for me (I am assuming Dabol gets hired away and Frazier does not): 1) (BTW I do not have Dabol replacement here because I believe moving on to to Dorsey is a fait accompli) - focus on d-line: Addison and Hughes are gone from the D-line rotation unless Hughes takes a very team friendly one-year deal. The re-sign horrible Harry, take the option on Oliver and do the best they can to find Lotulelei’s eventual replacement - I also think they seek to get a pay cut from Lotulelei but my guess is he will not make concessions - (I think top three draft needs in this order are: CB, Interior DL and interior OL) 2) CB - they have to sign one veteran - probably not Wallace - and find at least 1 in the first three rounds of the draft 3) Interior o-line - I think the Bills in the draft go with CB or IOL as #1 / #2 in draft 4) Depth at TE (I think they find a really good value FA who wants to play on O with JA) 5) Speed at RB - round 3 or later in the draft What are your thoughts?
  7. Kiss the thoughts of the Bears releasing or trading Mack to anyone away. No way does a defensive minded coach allow him to leave the organization.
  8. 1) Life comes one moment at a time so live it accordingly … you can only learn from the past and have no control over the future. 2) Always have a forgiving, grateful and humble heart 3) Everyone will deal with adversity With my personality type these notions are easily said and hard at times to accept. I’ve had to center my life with faith to overcome my incorrect sense that somehow life is controllable.
  9. Only if available for low 7th round pick …./sarcasm
  10. Yes, hard to believe he now is at the cusp of a HC job.
  11. Honey Badger was pretty critical to their success during the season. They will probably find a way to get him back.
  12. My first thought…. Life badly imitating the movies …..
  13. Hard to say because maybe he literally in his own world. Kickers are an odd group and some preference to be left alone in pressure situations. It does seem inconceivable that that important of a call would not have made it to him.
  14. I tend to believe this is the case, the players played the scheme called on the play which was absolutely horrendous.
  15. This ^^^^^ the younger crowd learned on Sunday just how hard it is to get to a SB much less win one.
  16. When you look at Turners film it’s rediculuos to see how open they left the middle of the field. Way too much space and ground available to Kelce. It’s like they conceded the FG to stop a TD attempt.
  17. I doubt the Bills let Dorsey walk away. He would be insane to leave Josh Allen.
  18. You guys are nuts. No way do the Bills act this far out of character. Additionally, McDermott, Frazier and Dabol are staying in Buffalo unless and only if Dabol or Frazier are offered HC opportunities elsewhere. The Pegula’s have publicly mentioned the value of continuity. With that said, the Bills will take a hard look at roster and schemes, especially on the defensive side of the ball. It may be very likely that they bring in some different assistant coaches and maybe even a “consultant” of some sort to help with the D. (Yes the #1 D). Three glaring issues on the Defensive side to fix: - Get home pass rush that results in sacks - softness against the run - Too much reliance on soft coverage I’m curious to see what the offseason brings. I really believe the Bills will be even better next year.
  19. Amen … to this ^^^^^ It’s too easy to play woulda couda shouda ……
  20. At the end of the day it’s a non winnable debate - however, many experts might agree that Dan Marino was a better pure QB as compared to Jim Kelly. Kelly arguably had the better surrounding cast and maybe the better coaching. Will Josh overcome and move past the shadow of Patrick Mahomes? Interestingly enough, the one way that Josh may overcome Mahomes is for one of the reasons why Kelly > Marino. Kelly was tough and a fierce competitor. I am not slighting Mahomes but his sledding has been easier than Josh’s. Josh has willed himself to great play and sought to move forward every year. As good as Josh is the ceiling may not yet be touched….yet. Josh is a warrior and for this reason alone my money is on him to do what right now seems impossible.
  21. With Injuries there is an element of luck to this. Not to mention who knows if and how COVID will impact the next season and its associated preparation.

  23. If this is what makes Josh happy then just do it.
  24. Nice thought but different era in football. Kelly also had a better team all around him. Josh does not have 7 seven hall of fame players, coaches or organizational members on the roster / organization right now. It could well be that nobody from the 2022 defense makes the HOF (maybe Tre…. Maybe). On offense Maybe Diggs but he may be more of a long shot than Tre (He he has not taken over the really big games yet). It’s crazy and sad but Josh stands alone on this roster.
  25. Nicely said. Can’t add anything.
