  1. I thought that is Keon wasn't where they wanted they might go more 2 TE with Moore outside but Keon excelled, Moore never broke out and Kincaid has been under the radar
  2. I thought there was a chance things might be different in training camp, but virtually every report I've heard is that when all are healthy is Palmer and Coleman on the outside and Shakir in the slot
  3. Honestly Coleman and Palmer on the outside has been looking like a strong likelihood for a while now
  4. Jesus let's show some decency for our livers! I mean for those of you with HBO. I'm going to be later. Watching through assuredly completely legal means Just kidding Amazon has it on demand so I'll probably just buy it
  5. Look I'm going to say that I fully believe Walker is meant to be a penetrating 1 Tech. He's not going to be used as a hole plugger But yeah that they planning to put him where DaQuan is. By most account DaQuan has had a good camp but he's definitely aging out and has injury history. Before his back injury Walker was talked as a first round pick. Here's hoping that Beane got a monster in the 4th round. And by the by, "Dancing Bear" is a fantastic nickname
  6. Thank goodness we have Andreeson
  7. I kind of get it. Moore had a great pedigree in college and looked great in spring practices and early in camp. In contrast fans had a sour taste in their mouth about Coleman's rookie year and spring and the first day of camp were rough but ho boy he has seriously broken out Most damning about Moore is that they gave Shavers time with the 1s over Moore with some of the injuries
  8. We will also need his social security number and mother's maiden name
  9. I am officially a bit disappointed with Landon Jackson. He flashed in the spring and Epenesa's spot seemed the must vulnerable. Am I asking too much of a 3rd round rookie? Maybe. In general, I expect the same line as last year and the only difference be the rotation but I really thought he would flash more
  10. That's what I heard too. Maybe not to the full extent when he was having All Pro seasons but I feel rather comfortable with Tre as CB2 to start the year. With Ingram, Jackson and Stong to fight over CB3 and 4? Yeah I feel ok
  11. It's great news! It does seemingly lock Tre White to start the year but honestly he might have won the job outright. There is abundant depth and Hairston can get worked in through the season
  12. This is my gut speaking but I think the Dolphins are headed for disaster this year. While I appreciate that they are starting to rebuild their trenches those take time and their O-line got further injuries IIRC At this point they have a quarter of their cap tied up on Tua and Hill. The bill is about to come due and I think this might be a nail in the coffin for McDaniel if he doesn't go farther than sneaking into the playoffs and going one and done Lol it would be so Billsy for him to get healthy juuuust in time to play us And for the Ravens? Playing us Week 1 after the playoffs? If there's a coin flip I think he plays
  13. Oof. He's one of their better receiving threats too.
  14. Here's hoping. I'm not going to rush to judgement based on sideline chatter. An MCL would suck but he'd be back in the season and be able to get up to speed gradually As much as any lost time from Hairston would suck Im actually pretty bullish about our depth. I never got the "Bills have a need at CB" talk at draft time. As much as we give Dane Jackson grief he's pretty par for the course for CB2 around the league, not to mention you have Tre (who is looking solid so far) and Ingram (who I thought looked good in limited time last year), plus Dorian Strong as potential upgrades
  15. Come on get your farrier to work on it. You don't have one carpool with your furrier
  16. I want to pump the breaks on forecasting too much of next year buuuut... I think it's safe to say that even before free agency there was a strong core: pretty much the entire offense is intact and there weren't major losses on defense But even just in the start of free agency they seemed to get close to what they were at the end of last year. I was confident that they'd find a deep and competent CB group post draft between Benford Hairston, Tre, Dane, and Ingram. So the things I've been most worried about were DL and WR and while it's early...man, if even half of them can do this consistently when the season starts my areas of concern might be strengths Keon has broken his funk, Palmer and Moore look at least as good as Cooper and Hollins if not better and the DL looks like they got a bunch of special guys if we know what to do with them
  17. Thank you kindly for the thread
  18. I'll be honest I kind of glossed over him because he seemed to be Oliver's backup/replacement but he's showing the penetration that Oliver has been inconsistent at. I'm not mad if we are going all in on 3 tech attacks
  19. That's two out of three days he's popped
  20. Tell Josh's testicles to watch out
  21. I think we are aligned on this takedown. As I have said before, I think it's ok to be frustrated at where Coleman is right now especially seeing Ladd McConkey busting loose in LA. But to your point, if the team wanted to replace the role envisioned for Coleman they wouldn't have been bringing in the 5'10 Elijah Moore. Do you want to argue that they might push Coleman down the depth chart? Maybe. Coleman has been with the 1s while Moore has been with the 2s. But really, they all do such different things that I sincerely think that Joe Brady understands that unless they get spectacularly lucky no one on the roster is going to be an elite prototypical #1 outside WR. What I see him doing instead is setting the roster and gameplan each week to hone in on a defense's weakness. Kincaid and Coleman will be blocking possession receivers Coleman and Shakir are YAC monsters Samuel and Cook can catch out of the backfield Moore and Palmer are vertical stretchers I mentally circle back to the 2023 Cowboys and 2024 Jags games. Brady recognized glaring weaknesses in both defenses, the Cowboys subpar run defense and the Jags insistence on man coverage and kept spamming those counters (Running away from Micah Parsons, motion to identify man matchups)
  22. Which is, in effect, cutting. Coleman is on a second round rookie deal. It's not like Beane would be trying to pawn off an aging free agent signing. Even if you got a trade the salary cap gains are practically wiped out by the guy you're replacing him on the roster for, based on Coleman having a 'meh' rookie season Did he bang your girl? Because even if you aren't a fan of Coleman's game having a cost controlled body who has an outside shot of developing is going to be a lot more appealing for a GM than taking a stroll through a retirement home so I can only guess this is a deep personal grudge
  23. I mean he certainly knows how to make a defense look good: coach offense for their opponents Alternately: Good for him. Running a defense is something he's never done before but the same could be said about running an offense
