  1. I think it might happen. It's just that the NFL is loath to move anything because they are locked in already with the networks and are primed for maximum exposure. As people pointed out, there is also a balance issue where whoever the Bills might play next are already getting a day of rest, moving to Monday would give them 2. That said, it's hard to make money when you literally can't see the field with the camera. If it's white out conditions, I am betting the game gets moved.
  2. I mean, hey, let's give credit to having a state governor tell opposing fans to not show up to a playoff game! 😄
  3. Unfortunately, I can see why the NFL might do this. Cable is shrinking as a field and at this point they've parlayed away the game rights to those it had. If TNF is on Amazon and you are sending extra games to Peacock, why maintain a broadcast crew? After that, you are keeping a full time talk show group to report on a season that is 4-6 months long (pre and postseason) and they have to carry a lot of takes until the next season starts. After that, it's rebroadcasts of old games and the NFL documentaries (which costs money to make). So sadly, I can see the NFL deciding that NFL network isn't worth the full cost. I'm just annoyed because I find the GMFB crew faaaaar better than the ESPN hosts and the work NFL films does (I believe at least one poster here left to work there is pretty good quality from what I remember. I would hate getting is dumbed down by ESPN
  4. I mean with ticket prices dropping I won't be shocked if shovelers get tickets
  5. It sounds like the plan is to do everything possible to get the game off on time on Sunday but are holding Monday late afternoon as a 'break glass in case of emergency ' option
  6. Allllllright. Let's strap in folx.
  7. I apologize. I have been expecting the cloud of doom and gloom. Of course I would like the game to be at the normal time Sunday. But barring that, moving it to 4:30 Monday is better at this point than trying to move locations or have us all terrified that a literal force majure is going to matter more than the talent on the field.
  8. Well...it sucks, but it might have saved you a trip. Be online with us other degenerates! (I assume everyone here is, sorry for those normal people)
  9. Or it could be as easy as purposefully scheduling 2 games a day. Maximize viewership. Now, MLK might be one of the lesser used holidays outside of the Federal Government, but a lot of schools and financial institutions are closed. I can see it being a thing. I have my first one off in...a decade (I think) so for me its win win. I am sure there are plenty of people who will hate it. He's probably quoting the wind warning for Saturday
  10. If only there was some kind of review mechanism in place for plays like that...oh right, there is. It's just that McDaniel blew all of his timeouts earlier that drive. I will save my bellyaching for the very obvious non-calls in the Dolphins favor which are NOT reviewable.
  11. Oof. Still, if there is a week to rest it's probably this. That said, this would be the one game where Rapp throwing himself around like missile would be worth the risk.
  12. I look a small bet at +130 odds of the Bills/Steelers to be the lowest scoring game of the weekend. That was a few days ago. Now I am wishing that I had bet bigger XD
  13. It's the only reasonable solution /s
  14. You will not see me complain. Remember that stupid little toss sweep Achae was killing us with? Imagine that with three backs.
  15. I've been thinking about it too. The 2023 Bills are more physical and more battle tested tested than the 2021 Bills full stop. I loved the 2021 Bills, but they got bullied and were more of a finesse team. I trust our RB group, O-line and rushing D more. Thanks for the breakdown!
  16. An all backfield day. The forecast is built for the TE and jumbo sets we've been complaining about earlier in the season. I don't mind some bootlegs with Kincaid as a receiving option either.
  17. Really Huh. I was not expecting such a fast move. They must be certain
  18. Ohhhh nooooo, let McDermott play with 5 DL and a linebacking corps playing out of its mind while letting him rest his CBs. Let the 3rd best YPC offense slug it out vs the 23rd
  19. I mean I am massively biased, as I will have that day off and will be watching my son, but I would love a Monday game. Wake up, do some game day shopping, absorb the pregame during his nap and then be glued to the TV for the next 8 hours with the Eagles game on next. It's selfish, and will obviously bear no reality upon any actual decision the league makes.
  20. Last night Sal posted that the NFL wasn't considering it then
  21. James Cook looks pretty close when he's clicking
  22. If they are going to play that game, I highly doubt they move or cancel ours. Snow is bad, that sounds potentially lethal
  23. If the game has to be moved anyway, would it make sense to give the teams an extra day to get set up? After all, if they are making the call now at most 69 hours from kickoff that would mean flying out tomorrow or Saturday.
