  1. Seantrel played quite a bit at guard at Miami. I wonder if that's the plan?
  2. Wow, that's out of left field. That name is forever tied to the Bills fan draft arguments.
  3. The only way it's remotely acceptable is if he actually knew beforehand, which is unlikely.
  4. matter2003 has been around for awhile... I highly doubt he'd post something like this without a legitimate reason. Having said that, it's definitely sad news, whether you think Fred is too old or not. The best Bills roster and staff in 15+ years and he won't be a part of it.
  5. @StepnerWKBW: EXCLUSIVE: #Bills RB LeSean McCoy in #Buffalo tonight. He had dinner with Rex Ryan, Greg Roman and others. @WKBW http://t.co/yEVws3Tddq
  6. @PSchrags: My Western NY restaurant spies also tell me LeSean McCoy and Bills brass are enjoying a celebratory dinner in town as we speak. @NFLonFOX
  7. There was a very interesting group on hand at OBD for a kids football camp today in addition to Garth: Rex Ryan, Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Fred Jackson, Eric Wood, Rob Gronkowski and his brothers, Kim Pegula, and from the Sabres: Zach Bogosian, Mike Weber, Marcus Foligno and Patrick Kaleta.
  8. @ByTimGraham: I can assure you Fred Jackson is monitoring these Bilal Powell reports closely.
  9. He put up a short Instagram video clip saying the same as he boards the plane: https://instagram.com/p/z-u_h_rXFU/
  10. That's the 2nd time LaConfora has mentioned the Bills "outbid" themselves with the Incognito signing. How much less could they possibly pay him?
  11. @JosinaAnderson: Source added that the #Bills added 2 more years to LeSean McCoy's existing contract. Team expecting Shady to show for physical today.
  12. New detail, although it was expected: @john_kucko: Per @Jeff_McLane, LeSean McCoy to get 5 year deal from #Bills, frontloaded with guaranteed $ #BillsMafia http://t.co/nRCfC8i6ip
  13. @DraftDiamonds: I am hearing Buffalo is really interested in Charles Clay. Bills see him as a younger Vernon Davis in Greg Roman's offense
  14. 7 mins ago: @CharlesRobinson: #Bills are still working it. RT @cbreezy2411: @CharlesRobinson Any new updates with Hughes negotiations? #Bills
  15. @Rand_Getlin: The #Jets, #Patriots, #Dolphins, #Cardinals, #49ers, #Redskins and #Lions all have interest in Spiller, league sources say.
  16. That's great to hear, I hope this can help him get his career going. Incidentally, does anyone remember the Bills considered signing LeCharles Bentley after the Browns released him? IIRC, he didn't pass the physical.
  17. Even if it's not considered "overpaying", a new deal with the Bills will be big. So, yes, definitely.
  18. That's not quite accurate. He said Hughes' representation is advising that he could potentially get more on the open market, and that Hughes is contemplating it. He also said it's possibly just a negotiating tactic. We should know soon enough.
  19. 9:37pm @jchenelly: Those advising Jerry Hughes say they are sure they can get bigger payday on open market than #Bills willing to pay. Hughes contemplating.
  20. Posted at 7:20pm @jchenelly: @nickellion79 @NCrampton11 Meeting has started. No further info yet. Will update as soon as possible.
  21. You sound pretty upset about people being upset about nothing.
  22. Greg Cosell is one of the best film reviewers in the media, and this time of year is where he really shines. He wrote a post on Yahoo's Shutdown Corner blog about the Bills-Eagles trade and added a paragraph on Cassell. Long story short, he likes what the Bills have done. It's an interesting read overall, although much of the post is about the Eagles: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/greg-cosell-s-analysis--breaking-down-the-eagles-bills-trade-175905938.html Regarding Cassell: "And I really think they made a good move trading for Matt Cassel. Cassel is your classic (for lack of a better term) system player. He needs a strong run game, and obviously that will be the foundation of the Bills’ offense. Cassel has always been a good play-action quarterback. He has never had a problem turning his back to the defense and then getting his head around and figuring out the coverage. In some ways, Cassel is no different – and arguably better at times – than Cincinnati’s Andy Dalton. He fits a system, and that’s what the Bills are going to do."
  23. Lake Erie never caught on fire, but the Cuyahoga River did several times. The fact that the mouth of the Cuyahoga River is Lake Erie has nothing to do with Darrelle Revis' interest in playing for Rex again.
