  1. The "Cowher in Town" thread is: http://w w w . b u f f a l o r a n g e . c o m/showthread.php?t=171939 Apparently the poster is the site owner and is known to have genuine contacts--- I'm skeptical, but still I'm desperate for anything positive.
  2. You can see the thread if you copy and paste--- but the entire thread is from 2 days ago, regarding a hurried potential press conference for the following day at OBD--- which obviously did not occur. There is a separate thread at that message board started 44 minutes ago by a well regarded poster that Cowher was in OP this weekend, however. The thread title is Cowher in Town.
  3. Isn't it obvious that for the CBS pregame to NOT link Cowher to the Bills is probably because there is, indeed, some validity to his interest? It's kind of a big decision, to say the least, and I'm sure he's taking his time to consider it--- and also that the Bills have allowed for him to do so. It doesn't mean he'll ultimately take the job, but if he had absolutely no interest then he would likely take this opportunity to lay the rumors to rest--- he's not going to string everybody along in this manner.
  4. Just like Dick Jauron! Maybe DJ can replace him at USC to rehabilitate his poor NFL coaching record, just as Carroll did.
  5. From Jay Glazer's Twitter:
  6. Well, that is the same pic from the about page at eastaurora.org, and this Twitter account does go back to June, clearly representing the same guy. Interestingly, the first Twitter post is a plea to T.O. to move to East Aurora: I think he's sincere in that he is being fed insider info of some kind--- but obviously there is no way to know the degree of authenticity of that info.
  7. In response to another Twitter-er's (?) question asking for any news. Is Joe Logan actually outing Jim Kelly as his his source? LoganInEA

  9. Wasn't this thread probably not intended to be serious but just a jab at SKOOBY's inanity? SKOOBY=Scooby-Doo, SKRAAPY=Scrappy-Doo? The comments in the initial post are just as dumb as anything posted by SKOOBY himself.
  10. Yeah, I can't tell if he's joking about that or not. I was trying to beat him to it.
  11. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/563872 Compares To: CATO JUNE, Houston -- Harris does not have the pass coverage ability of June, but both are more of a chase-and-trail type of linebacker who work better playing downhill and in the short-area pursuit than handling man coverage assignments. Like June, Harris will be limited to playing in a Cover-2 scheme. It is evident by his poor hip turn and marginal speed for the position that he will not be considered to be a strong safety by many teams.
  12. Remember how often we'd (and I'm referring to JP supporters from the past few seasons, a group in which I participated) make comments like this to justfiy JP's struggles? For the record, I do believe those were justifiable struggles for a young QB so early in his career--- but that's what makes this season and this group so special. Trent is well ahead of the curve at perhaps the most difficult "mental" position in the game. And it's not only Trent. The light has come on for the team as a whole in so many ways. It just came to mind when I was reading this post, and I think it's fun to reflect on how far they've come as a team from the head scratching/smashing ineptitude of the last decade. I know this season is only 4 games old and an awful lot can change in a single heartbeat--- but doesn't it seem like eons ago the Bills couldn't do anything right?
