  1. I doubt the Bills would alter their offer based on a news report.
  2. Tim Graham covered the Dolphins for a Miami newspaper for a few years after he left his first stint at the Buffalo News. The way he worded the tweet, it could be from Fins sources and not necessarily the Bills, fwiw.
  3. The only quotes I've seen regarding Harbaugh's opinion of Taylor were along the lines of disappointment that he didn't play better in the limited game opportunities that he had. Of course, the key word is "limited", because he barely had any opportunities.
  4. My take on this has become that it's just a matter of time before Clay is a Bill. The Dolphins will make it as difficult as possible for the Bills, who will patiently wait. The Bills are taking their time with the offer sheet because Miami is forcing their hand to up the offer and the Bills will structure the offer to match Miami's available space. That could explain the two teams "trading offers", which was reported earlier. It took awhile for me to realize this is a showdown between Rex and his former boss in Mike Tannenbaum.
  5. Schefter tweeted that the Bills and Harvin "reached agreement", not signed--- however, all his tweets regarding FA signings use some variation of the phrase "reached agreement".
  6. Allegedly, Omar Kelly reported the Dolphins are close to extending Clay, but where did he say this? It's not on Twitter and he's not a tv reporter.
  7. Why was there not a peep about the 49ers interest in Harvin until after its announced the Bills have signed him? FFS
  8. @BrandonSpikes51: HAM MERCY PERCY WITH THE #BilllsMafia !!! U GONNA LOVE IT GATOR BOI !! @Percy_Harvin ##GatorNation #Gatorgreat #GoGators 🐊🐊🐊🐊
  9. Clay is supposed to pick it up at the border crossing as he enters Canada.
  10. Ian Rapoport‏@RapSheet5 mins5 minutes ago When the #Dolphins traded for Kenny Stills, WR Mike Wallace went on the trading blocks. They’ve explored this option before, doing it now.
  11. No, I think it was relatively painless.
  12. @DrewBoylhart: #Saints may have to release RG Jahri Evans #NFL
  13. Yes. Exactly. What would the Dolphins do with Dion Sims, btw?
  14. Alex Marvez‏@alexmarvez54 secs55 seconds ago Source tells @NFLonFOX that @buffalobills working toward striking deal with WR Percy Harvin
  15. @AlbertBreer: Miami still wants Charles Clay - coaches envision using him & Jordan Cameron like Pats used to use Hernandez & Gronk.
  16. Trading Mike Wallace wouldn't provide a great deal of relief, but, who knows: Spotrac‏@spotrac35 secs35 seconds ago Trading Mike Wallace: $6.6M in dead cap to the #Dolphins 3yr/$32.9M, $3M g'teed deal for the new team; new caps: 9.9/11.5/11.5 Unlikely.
  17. I'm reading it as, the Bills have presented an offer sheet and the Dolphins have presented an extension.
  18. It's also possible that Miami is merely feigning interest to force the Bills to not call their bluff--- the Ellerbe trade helps, but still counts as a cap hit: Spotrac‏@spotrac11 mins11 minutes ago Dannell Ellerbe leaves behind $4.2M in dead cap to the #Dolphins, bringing along cap hits of $8.45M, $6.475M, and $6.025M to the #Saints.
  19. Charles Robinson‏@CharlesRobinson14 mins14 minutes ago For those who keep asking about #Dolphins Charles Clay, #Bills looking to extend offer today or tomorrow & think they'll get him.
  20. Spotrac‏@spotrac17 secs18 seconds ago At $373,671, #Bills OT Seantrel Henderson receives the NFL’s highest 2014 performance-based bonus. Nearly doubling his $420k salary.
  21. Mark Gaughn of the Buffalo News. Any deeper meaning behind it or just a throwaway comment? @gggaughan: At least the Browns have Thad Lewis.
  22. Regarding Harvin: @jchenelly: @pawlikIII The #Bills believe he skipped his visit to New England and went home to mull offers. @jchenelly: @pawlikIII Yes, but he went home to contemplate offers.
  23. I don't think lowball was really the best term... I suppose I just have doubts on meeting in the middle of what would make both Clay happy and fit out cap constraints. Then again, the fact no offer was officially made could support this idea, which would be rather prescient on the part of the Bills.
  24. I'm not so worried about any tag related complication. It's only a matter of time: He was visiting Buffalo for 3 days and then: @viccarucci: Charles Clay actually returned to South Florida the same way he traveled to Buffalo, via Air Pegula.
  25. Clay still has to agree to sign it, though. I doubt his agent allows us to lowball him.
