  1. I think Perry Fewel wasn't included previously.
  2. @ChrisTrapasso: Jim Tomsula was Fred Jackson's head coach when the two were with NFL Europe's Rhein Fire in 2006.
  3. I have a work friend that's an Atlanta Falcons fan. His top two choices for HC were Rex and Bowles. Oops
  4. I f'ing hate the William C. Rott and Son commercials--- phony folksy BS. Who is this appealing to in WNY? And yet I can't get their damned jingle out of my head...
  5. Marrone is likely getting attention from the Bears based on a recommendation from former Bears' personnel man (and longtime Bills scout) Greg Gabriel. I don't think it's anything more than a bone being thrown his way. Look up Gabriel's Twitter feed from the past week or so.
  6. The Jets O will look better than advertised for about half the season, then the talent level will overcome the scheme. I'll always be in Chan's corner, though: good man and very smart offensive mind. He deserves better than he's been served thus far in his career, IMHO.
  7. It is (probably) Thurman, just not our #34: @BNHarrington: I'm pretty certain the gent next to Rex is new #Bills DC Dennis Thurman.
  8. He's at the Sabres game tonight: http://wivb.com/2015/01/13/rex-ryan-spotted-at-sabres-game/
  9. @jchenelly: Rex Ryan, Dennis Thurman, Greg Roman working phones, will travel to build top staff. #Bills given record budget for coaches & scouts. #NFL
  10. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000457298/article/what-we-learned-osus-cardale-jones-considering-nfl-jump "I'm not going to say 'definitely,'" Jones said. "(The NFL) is something that I'll consider. My most important focus is getting my degree."
  11. The article may not have made it explicitly clear, but it links to Kimberly Jones' tweet stating categorically that Dennis Thurman is the DC.
  12. The quotes aren't visible on the mobile site--- you need to click 'full site' at the bottom on a mobile device to see them.
  13. I wonder if he's a Marrone fan? Of course, he wasn't a below .500 coach prior to the Jets' 4-12 season. Dietsch is a 'Buffalo guy'--- lived in WNY and worked in radio there. He always sings the praises of the region, FWIW.
  14. Bill Callahan drawing interest from Rex, presumably for OL: @MMehtaNYDN: Rex Ryan is interested in Buffalo RT @RapSheet: Cowboys OC/OL coach Bill Callahans contract is up.
  15. Vic Carucci‏@viccarucci2 mins2 minutes ago Although deal between Rex Ryan & #Bills still yet to be signed, I'm told there's no concern it won't happen. Should be done Monday. Vic Carucci‏@viccarucci7 mins7 minutes ago No timeframe yet for press conference introducing Rex Ryan as next head coach of #Bills, source said.
  16. @Fred22Jackson: Excited about the hire of Rex!! Great coach to come in and keep us moving in the right direction!
  17. @sammywatkins: Can't wait gotta love REX RYAN 💯💯💯 http://t.co/FpEPW9H1kk @EWood70: Love the hire!
  18. @viccarucci: The #Bills have "every intention" of keeping DC Jim Schwartz, just told by high-ranking team source.
  19. @RapSheet: Trestman or Roman RT @KimJonesSports: DC Dennis Thurman is expected to join Bills. Rex expected to hire an OC who was not on staff with NYJ.
  20. Yes, St. Louis got permission but I'm not sure if he interviewed there yet. Definitely did interview in Cleveland, though.
  21. Roman has been granted permission to interview for other open OC positions in the League. It appears to be a formality that San Fran would let him walk, unlike (apparently) Schwartz in Buffalo.
  22. Just a thought... Rex has the same agent as Marrone. Also the same agent as Adam Schefter. Not surprising that Schef would be the first to reports this*, especially for those that remember how the Marrone news first came out way back when he was hired. *well, second after Leroi! I realize Buffalo isn't NYC or LA, but those types of comments are just ignorant tripe.
  23. If that was worded that way intentionally by Mehta--- mad propers.
