  1. Duvernay-Tardif, assuming he lasts into the 7th.
  2. It wasn't even "one game" so much as something that happened during the practice week. Basically, he saw a gif that's going around of Donald plowing through Richardson in a drill. Zach Martin struggled against Donald during the practice week, too.
  3. Reasonable as defined by the Bills. You'd have to ask them.
  4. Yes, him and dozens of other O-linemen.
  5. Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 4m Bills called during the season, too RT @Jeff_McLane: Chip Kelly: #Eagles had been fielding calls from the Bills for Bryce Brown for a while.
  6. The Bills tried to trade for Brown last year; the Eagles tried to trade for Spiller a few weeks ago but the Bills wouldn't even listen to an offer... seems to me that acquiring Brown is not a precursor to moving Spiller. If the Bills can extend Spiller at a reasonable number, then they will. If not and Bryce Brown proves he can be relied upon to carry the load... Way too many variables right now to make any kind of educated guess.
  7. They were going to draft a RB this year--- trading a future draft pick for a 22 year old (he'll be 23 in 4 days) that has proven success against NFL defenses and was the #1 high school recruit at RB is more than worth it. They also retain 2014 picks, so that's a win even if he doesn't last.
  8. Jason La Canfora ‏@JasonLaCanfora 1m Eagles trade for Bryce Brown could be a 4th in 2014 or a 3rd in 2016 or a 4th in 2016, based on his performance in Buffalo
  9. Mike Clay ‏@MikeClayNFL 3m You say Bryce Brown, replies are all about fumbles. Kid didn't fumble once all last season. #Bills
  10. Geoff Mosher ‏@GeoffMosherCSN 7m It'll either be Buff's 4th rd pick in '15, 3rd rd pick in '16, or 4th rd pick in '16. Condition tied to Stevie Johnson's performance this yr
  11. Adam Caplan ‏@caplannfl 2m #Bills tried to get Brown from the #Eagles last year. Spiller on last year of rookie deal. Some interesting links from Matt Waldman's Rookie Scouting Profile: http://mattwaldmanrsp.com/2012/05/06/rsp-no-huddle-series-eagles-rb-bryce-brown/ http://mattwaldmanrsp.com/2013/11/17/bryce-brown-and-the-nfl-parable-of-the-backup-rb/
  12. Sal Capaccio ‏@SalSports 3m According to http://Spotrac.com , Bryce Brown has two years left on his contract that pays him a TOTAL of $1.1M over those two years.
  13. Brown is only 23. Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 1m And to be clear… the #Bills plan to keep Fred Jackson, just adding to their RB depth
  14. My guess us that if the Niners 4th becomes a 3rd, then the compensation converts to a 2016 3rd
  15. @AdamSchefter: For Bryce Brown, Eagles are getting back a conditional 4th-round pick in 2015 that can be a 3rd in 2016, per source.
  16. Brown was on the outs in Philly--- apparently Chris Polk is the backup to McCoy, plus the presence of Sproles makes him expendable. A lot of talent, though, just a bad attitude.
  17. @GeoffMosherCSN: Eagles have traded Bryce Brown to the Bills, per source. #Eagles get a future pick. Schefter confirms: Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 1m Eagles traded RB Bryce Brown to the Buffalo Bills, per league source.
  18. Considering they brought in 6 RBs for visits and none were projected to be UDFAs, I doubt they're looking to wait until after the draft. If they miss out on Andre Williams or Seastrunk in the 5th then maybe they will. The Bills had him in for a visit. It's not crazy.
  19. There are anywhere from 4-6 DBs on the field at any given time... so it's kind of important. Especially when a kid like Cockrell can possibly play S.
  20. TBD = Two Bills Drive? Value pick in the 4th round. Had TBD going in the 3rd.
  21. Do you think that by using the word "helpless" it's referring to all phases of a fan's life or simply in regards to attitudes toward their favorite football team? I think you just over thought the whole article. The "helplessness" of watching Dick Jauron draft Aaron Maybin was pretty much the emotional equivalent of watching Drew Bledsoe fumble away our playoff chances Week 17 against Pittsburgh in 2004.
  22. It was already explained: Ralph relinquished day to day control of the franchise to Russ Brandon. I doubt Ralph was dictating from his death bed to Russ that Byrd should be lowballed. Perhaps Littman still holds sway over Russ' mindset, but Ralph's passing is unrelated--- in fact, by all accounts, the Bills were willing to pay up and Byrd simply preferred to move on.
  23. ESPN's Injury Specialist Stephania Bell says Kouandijo is worth the risk and added on twitter that this type of wear would be "common" amongst NFL linemen. http://espn.go.com/v...=espnapi_public Stephania Bell ‏@Stephania_ESPN 14h OT Cyrus Kouandjio may have been the most discussed player with regards to injury concern pre-draft. Some wear in outer aspect left knee. He did not miss game or practice since surgery (so last two years); no pain/swelling; some concern over long-term knee health. His situation serves as a reminder that selections are all about perceived value by team: Does talent outweigh medical risk? Yes, if you sampled NFL linemen would be common “@DrRaySolano: @Stephania_ESPN Is it true that kind of wear is common given the position?”
