Still out of my league.

I was watching an episode of "The Hitchcock Hour" the other night, and I have a crush on Laura Devon. Too bad she's dead and about 80 years older than me.

I haven't seen the pics, but I am amused by the fact that many of you aren't interested. Considering most of you are the same people who would "yes" 48-year-old cross-eyed teachers from Fresno who lure kids into their basements for extra biology tutoring. At least be consistent. Lohan can't look that awful.

Now that I've looked up what the hell "Fendi" is, that's pretty good.

He is an every year player. Not a diva. Great work ethic by all accounts. Good route runner. Drops balls. Plays bigger than he is. Not another Megatron type talent. More like Dez Bryant.

Not to hijack this thread, but I'm just curious -- do you think McNabb belongs in the Hall of Fame? I ask this only because he and Jim Kelly have basically had the same career through 11 years. I hate to see what is happening to McNabb's legacy.

In the 20 years between '78 and '98, they averaged 5.5 wins a season and had double-digit-win seasons a grand total of zero times. They were beyond Bills bad.

I'd like to know what the numbers for caused fumbles and fumble recoveries have been over the past five years or so compared to other teams in the NFL. It seems the Bills cause/recover far fewer than other teams.

I agree to a certain extent, but our perspectives have changed over the years, too. Let's not pretend there weren't complete jerks at those games. I remember scanning the crowd for fights in the early 90s. That being said, yes, it is undoubtedly worse now. The complete jerks have multiplied many times over. Instead of an excuse to have fun, it's become, in large part, an excuse to get fuggin' polluted, brah.

Well, I don't think anybody's asking for a "great" defense, but merely a respectable one. They're 22nd overall, 24th against the run and 19th against the pass. They're dead last in sacks. I think the general hope is to get in the top third of the league. I'd be happy with that, and it would go a long way toward winning on a consistent basis.

Please specify your reasons. I don't live in WNY, so I'm looking from afar, but it doesn't seem to me that they miss much. They might be late on some things, but that's just the nature of reporting in a Web-driven age.

Isn't that the truth. When they were 2-0 I actually went on this board and said they could "squeak out 8 or 9 wins." I'll never learn.
