  1. Haha, thanks. Let me clarify: Somewhere not in a Bills receiver's hands.
  2. As if Wilson buys mousetraps for that hellhole. /Completely unfair. Sorry.
  3. Sure. You'll need a new coach or three.
  4. Yes, it's the name. It's no wonder everybody's clamoring to bring back Peerless Price. After all, they need a deep threat. I can't believe I'm defending Florence, but he's not even in the discussion, in my opinion, about this team's biggest problems. There are many, many scapegoats to go around.
  5. He did try to make a play on the ball. It was out of his reach.
  6. I completely agree. He was with him step-for-step and the ball was dropped in there perfectly. His pursuit kinda blew, but the coverage was good.
  7. After they started 5-2, things fell apart and we saw them for what they really are. Like Dutch, when the Predator pulls off his mask: "You're one ugly mother*$(#!*."
  8. It'll be interesting to see who will be starting on Week 1 next season. You have to believe Williams will be out there full-time, but what will they do about McGee? McKelvin? I really don't think Florence has played that poorly --- he got beat on a perfectly thrown ball yesterday. Plus, I believe he's in the first year of a three-year deal that they view as a bargain.
  9. Seemed like good coverage to me. Just a perfectly thrown ball.
  10. Ah, the good ole' days when they scored touchdowns.
  11. "Awful" is probably a bit too strong, in my opinion. He's played like a rookie.
  12. Good point.
  13. Javon Walker got $9 million.
  14. Wawrow can correct me if I'm wrong, but the Bills have already rejected his agent's latest offer, which I'm thinking is somewhere in the $8-9 million range per year. (Wawrow's story said the offer averaged out to under $9 million per year.) If Buffalo doesn't pay that, somebody else will. And I'm sure the franchise number is much higher than that.
  15. Their ovens are awful, too.
  16. Through five weeks, touchbacks were at 51.4 percent league-wide, so they haven't been totally eliminated. Also, the NFL would point to an increase in average kickoff return yardage and scoring in its attempt to justify the new rule. I think that would just lure teams to kick shorter, and in turn lead to more returns. Again, something the league is trying to stay away from.
  17. I think they knew exactly what kind of impact it would have, and I'd be surprised if they had any intentions of tweaking the rule if it were to create more opportunities for returns. I hate it, you hate it, we all hate it. But the NFL really doesn't care.

  19. I can see a lumbering Spencer Johnson chasing Tebow around the end already.
  20. If we're talking play-by-play and color, all-sports, Sean McDonough, Al Michaels, Tim Ryan and Brad Nessler are all great picks.
  21. A kind of ineptitude that's almost difficult to achieve. The franchise is amazing in some ways.
  22. The fact that only four of 36 players drafted between 2003 and 2007 are still on the team speaks volumes.
  23. Finally, a thread today that puts a smile on my face.
