  1. The Bills defense is built for regular season football. Offense gets a lead, crappy QB has to play catch up and makes mistakes. Playoff QBs don't make those mistakes and they get shredded in the playoffs. In a close game we can't stop the run and to me 150 yards on the ground is twice as bad as 300 yards in the air even though it's only half the yardage. Remember the wind game last year, one of the most embarrassing Bills regular season losses of this regime. We lost a game where the opponent threw the ball 3 times, looked great of the stat sheet but anyone watching couldn't comprehend why they didn't make adjustments.
  2. He beat the Jets in the suck year that got us a Top 10 pick. Oliver just wasn't that guy.
  3. KC doesn't dump the amount of resources we do on their defense, they load the offense up to outsource opponents. Look at the 13-second game, their defense wasn’t great but ours was worst, despite the number of Day 1 & 2 draft picks and excessive cap spend. Reid is also an offensive-minded coach, not a defensive guy like McDermott
  4. Terrell Edmunds. Lose an Edmunds, add an Edmunds.
  5. There were plenty calling for his head this time last year. We had plenty of bad games in 2021 that cost us a shot at the 1 seed and then 13 seconds happened. Just because he's better than Chan Gailey doesn’t mean he's untouchable
  6. You could easy use those stats as a reason why it’s time to move on. 2nd most playoff games, but only 8th in playoff wins? That’s not success, that just means the Jets, Dolphins and Patriots haven’t been very good and we have a franchise QB
  7. Frazier will be McDermott’s DC in 2024, but it won't be in Buffalo. And for those saying it took Reid 20 years to win, Josh Allen doesn’t have 20 years to play.
  8. He’s not going to say, “Davis sucks, we made a mistake, he’s not the future, can’t wait to get rid of him”
  9. Step your game up. It's not 2016, playoffs is no longer the goal.
  10. I want to like Groot, he hit a rookie wall in 21 and he disappeared around the same time in 22, which was right when Miller got hurt. Year 3 is big for him, he needs to take a step up
  11. You are right he wasn’t cut. He retired immediately after Marrone was hired and the rumors were he was going to be cut so he retired instead. Either way, he was that generation's AJE, maybe slightly worst given the rules then and now. Not every player is going to be Smith, Schobel, or even Jerry Hughes, but I remember questioning his play was something that brought fans together
  12. Kelsey started for 10 years and had like 30 career sacks. He had a great game against Tebow but other than that was consistently pushed around having fans wondering why he was on the field and kept getting extensions. As soon as he was cut from the Bills he retired because no other team had any interest in bring in the vet.
  13. Remember when Chris Kelsey was the poster child for a terrible DE, now we have an entire unit of Chris Kelsey’s.
  14. Depends how you enunciated your vowels, but other than I agree.
  15. The rotation was never the issue, the results and lack of pressure and penetration is the issue. If everyone we drafted or signed for the DL were effective it would be great, but other than Miller every pick and signing has been a complete miss or JAG.
  16. So you are cool with being 5th, not even top 3? I was referring to this year's playoffs, almost losing to a 3rd string QB and then a no-show in the snow, as embarrassing.
  17. This isn't the 2006 Buffalo Bills. Making the playoffs is no longer the goal. We've lost in the playoffs for the same reason 4 years in a row, you can tell the players aren't bought into "the process" as they once were, and the roster is full of holes. Yes, we have Allen and will be good with him, but we cannot be truly great unless changes are made. If you think last season as successful, we have different options.
  18. If it was Beanes plan to let him walk we shouldn’t be in a position with no reasonable option on the present roster, and if Bernard is his answer he should be shown the door
  19. Most teams can justify letting a player like Edmunds walk because you can get a comp pick, but Beane doesnt play the comp pick game and I dont want to lose him for nothing. Maybe a tag & trade is the best option
  20. If they drafted him other than for special team based on his size and skillset, then the house needed to clean last year. Its ***** bull#### they are this bad at talent evaluation. Nate Peterman over AJ McCarron for Josh’s rookie year. Give me a ***** break.
  21. I have a $400k house in Vegas. My taxes are less than $2k
  22. Every player is different. It was widely speculated that Milano took less money to stay in Buffalo because we were building something special. Fast forward a few years, what we built was nice, but its far from the nicest house on the block. The luster of the process is gone. I’m not even mad Poyer is leaving and we have no idea what was said behind the scenes.
