  1. Moss has had Culpepper, Randall Cunningham, I believe Rich Gannon (former MVP), Jeff George, all better than anything Lee Evans has ever played with, so Moss is terrible example to prove your point.
  2. It doesn't change it, they will take the top running back available. If there is no season in 2011 at least they won't lose 10 games for a change.
  3. You are new to watching the NFL? He had Culpepper who threw for over 4,000 yards and came in second to Manning for MVP? He also had a future HOFer on the other side for a big part of his career in Cris Carter, who has Evans had? Now use the Randy Moss in Oakland example and you will be closer to the truth.
  4. Why just turn the dumb down when you can turn it completely off? If you leave we will be dumb free.
  5. Exactly, like someone else said in this post, when you don't have any help around you and your quarterback play and offense line play are terrible, even the best players in the league can be average at best. You can put Jerry Rice in his prime on this team for the past 5 seasons and he is an average player-at best. What great receivers have had terrible quarterbacks throwing to them-None that I can think of.
  6. I would rather they trade them Brohm, but that would be dumb on their part. He will be cut in a few weeks so they can have him for free.
  7. As much as I don't want to say it, I would bet that Kelsey leads them in sacks. Maybin is quick but looks more like a basketball player, to thin to put on a consistent rush. I would like to think that they all have one sack to start with?
  8. What, our QBs aren't bad enough already?
  9. Wait until he breaks his leg because there is no offensive line to block for him. He has the potential to be a great NFL back, but he isn't ready to start full time yet, his play last friday proved that. He has the skills when the ball is in his hands, but he needs to learn the blocking schemes and techniques. It still would have made much more sense to pick in an area that we didn't have the depth that we have in the backfield. It is much easier to made do with an average back than with an average Offensive Lineman or quarterback. That isn't even debateable, just look at the Broncos over the past 10 seasons with a different 1,000 yard back almost every year, backs that could even make teams like the Bills (Olandis Gary).
  10. Kinda like Thurman signing with Miami?
  11. If he can't play in Houston, which it appears they don't need him barring an injury, than he wants to finally have a chance to play on a winner. New England makes all the sense in the world, so it will come back to bite us.
  12. Not hating, just stating the obvious. Relax, even if this staff does a great job, there are too many holes to fix in one year.
  13. Stupid to clap? WTF? So should we Boo, or turn our backs to the play, stay stone faced, throw things? Not all really good plays mean someone screwed up on the other side of the ball. Often a DB can have great coverage, but a perfect throw and route and it still is a completion. All good plays aren't because of poor plays, alot of time they work because of good execution. Besides, anyone who has ever played a sport, especially football, knows a cheering or booing crowd for that matter motivates you to try even harder in alot of cases. Bottom line is, they don't care if you clap, cheer, boo, whistle, fart or whatever.
  14. If it is a league with individual defensive players than I would say Byrd, otherwise it still has to be Lee Evans (not saying much), since the backfield is going to be so crowded and the touches are going to be split 3 ways.
  15. If they were worrying about being classy they would have dumped Lynch when they had the chance.
  16. Exactly my point. Apparently the last FO had more brains than this one does? And that isn't saying too much now is it?
  17. If there is one thing that Nix has proved since he arrived here is that you cannot believe a word he says. What was it 24 hours ago he told the media that they would not release Schobel, now they release him. A week ago it was said that Schobel had all the time he needed and would be welcomed, then when the word got out that Schobel was looking for a place to rent, Nix told him he wasn't welcomed. Wishy Washy at best this guy is.
  18. If he was on the Bills they would just release him and let him sign with New England or Miami.
  19. There is no money being spent on a guy on the failed to report list, or for that matter on a guy traded for a draft pick. Just to let him go to sign with New England, Houston or whatever is plain dumb. New people, same ol same ol dumbness at OBD.
  20. No kidding, and nobody knows how pathetic our O-Line is more than Schobel too. I guess being honest and a nice guy mean more than winning. As Leo Durocher said, "Nice Guys Finish Last" so this organization must be full of nice guys.
  21. Just think what we have to look forward to if they do end up drafting first or second, which is highly likely and draft a quarterback in 2011. Do you really think it will be easy to sign a deal that is bigger than what the Rams gave Sam Bradford? If Ralph is still alive, he might not be after he sees that. I would bet that no team in the league is hoping for a rookie salary cap more than Cheapy Ralph and the Bills.
  22. Now that you mention it, how many if ever have the Bills over the past 15 years kept a player that was at the elite level once the contract was up? The only player who they have kept and resigned that is without a doubt one of the top at his position was Moorman, but punter's salaries are peanuts compared to most other positions, and he earns every penny on this offense-less team. I am not saying I would have kept all of them, but they don't keep any of them (Winfield, Clements, Pat Williams, London Fletcher, etc.). The closest thing to that level that they have resigned was Schobel, and that is turning disastrous now, but was a good signing. No team can keep all of their free agents, nor do they want to, but this team doesn't seem to be able to keep any of them that another team might be interested in.
  23. He would have to be in camp to beat up a fan in camp? No matter what a fan said, if he actually beat up a fan, he would deserve to be out for a long time. I know some fans can be real idiots but that would be plain stupid and deserve at least a year suspension which I am sure he would deservedly get.
