  1. Edwards does have a history of inuries, but it sure would improve his chances of staying healthy if our offensive line wasn't worse than some of the lines in the UFL. I think if healthy we have some good offensive guards now, but our tackles are still going to be a big problem and one of if not the worst OT tandem in the NFL.
  2. I have to agree with you totally. No questions, Edwards has had a rough time, but I don't remember him once pointing fingers at anyone during his time in Buffalo. He has taken a beating both mentally and physically and kept professional about it. Even Kelly once blamed his offensive line (the Bickering Bills) and T.O. blames someone else with every other breath that he takes. If Edwards can put it together finally, he is the kind of player that you want on your team.
  3. I thought the biggest day in Bills history period was when we signed Noodle Arm Fitz last year?
  4. Doesn't leave too much to question why Kelly isn't working as a football analyst or commentator does it? He was a great quarterback, and gave so much to this team and city, but you have to take what he says with a grain of salt. Sounds like he is bored or starting to miss the attention he received as a player. He doesn't have to worry, Bills fans won't ever forget him. With that said, I totally agree with him and hope Edwards is the starter, as he is the obvious choice. If Gailey wants to prove he is this great QB coach and mentor that alot of people claim he is, let his actions do the talking, make a good NFL caliber signal caller out of a guy whose confidence has taken a beating with terrible offensive lines and pathetic game plans.
  5. Wow, Don't Bogart that Joint my Friend! I would certainly hope you are correct, but if you are serious you are setting yourself up to be disappointed. Even an 8-8 record might get Gailey Coach of the Year votes. This is another 6 win team at best, too much young inexperienced talent that needs to develop. It might be on the right path to improving but I don't think it will be as quick as you are expecting.
  6. I am all for it, as long as Gisele comes with him.
  7. dick jauron was THE PROBLEM Dick Jauron was a big part of the problem but he wasn't THE problem. Several things have led to the pathetic results this organization has accomplished over the past decade. Several are: 1. Lack of Talent 2. Poor Coaching 3. Poor Game Plan 4. Poor Ownership 5. Poor Drafts 6. Poor Front Office 7. Injuries after Injuries 8. On, On, On, On and On
  8. If I were to make my own rankings, the Bills would be in the same place pretty much. Let's all hope they surprise everyone this year and it is FINALLY a season that we can be happy and proud of when it ends, not another disappointment and disgrace.
  9. I think they said the same thing about Billy Joe Hobert a few years back?
  10. Why are some of you so Pessimistic?, Dear God, good heavens why? Are you for real? Do this-Get the book "The Buffalo Bills History" (if it really exists), check the Bills records for the past decade or so and see what they have in common. Ok, now if you have half a brain when you look over the past decade, you can answer your own question.
  11. Check Ebay. I got one a couple years ago, the blue one, but it was all sewn on numbers and letters. It was a company that sells them, not a used one.
  12. Doug Flutie was since Kelly, and he was 22-9 as a starter in with the Bills, with 47 TDs and 30 ints. If that is sucking, there haven't been many good QBs in the NFL lately. If they hadn't have replaced him with surfer boy Johnson, we might very well have been in the Super Bowl instead of the Titans playing the Rams. I know if he doesn't fall into the past 10 years of this post, but this is replying to the post that every QB since Kelly has sucked. Just about all the other ones have, no doubt, but Flutie was a winner-no matter what it took. There hasn't been much excitement at Ralph Wilson Stadium/Rich Stadium since he left for San Diego.
  13. "That's my baby boy right there," Lynch said. "My little litte. Junior!" That is more than scary if Spiller is a Lynch Jr.?
  14. Wow, you have too much time on your hands. I heard awhile ago on ESPN radio that something prevents them from signing "scabs" to play with this time if there is a lockout/strike. I have read in a few places that "scabs" can only be used in the event of a players strike not in the case of a lockout, which is what this will be. If this is correct, there will either be a new argreement (unlikely, but I sure hope so) or there will be NO NFL Football in 2011.
  15. Yes he did, so it was a business decision. Either sign with Buffalo or you are out of business!
  16. I believe Mark Kelso is on that network with him. Marv Leavy was back in the stone age too.
  17. I live probably less than an hour from W&M and have never even seen them on TV down here?
  18. I didn't realize perfect backups sucked?
  19. Just what we need another QB that no other team wants. Don't we have enough of those already?
  20. And Troy Smith has just lit the NFL up? You are the one who has to be kidding. If Edwards is a bum than Smith is dumpster water-at best.
  21. Vincent Jackson would be a nice addition, but they would want to much in a trade for him and he wants too much money. For the past few years, Lee Evans has been slammed on this board for lack of production. Over the 5 seasons that Evans has been a full time starter he has averaged 58 catches and 902 yards a season-with terrible quarterbacks, weak offensive lines and poor gameplans. Jackson has averaged, over his 3 years as a full time starter-56 catches and 962 yards, with a Pro Bowl quarterback, and one of the best teams and most explosive offenses in the AFC. I think if Evans was on those Charger teams his numbers would have been better than Jacksons, by quite a bit too. Not that Jackson wouldn't be nice, but if we give up the house for him, it may be like the Falcons giving up the estate for Peerless Price awhile back.
  22. And what do the Bills have that they would want to give up and that the Chargers would want for these guys? Do we mortgage the future and give up our high draft picks to take a chance with two disgruntled veterans? It would be nice to have them on the team, but is it worth the price we would have to pay?
  23. If they brought Troy Smith in even to compete for the starter role much less bring him in and name him the starter, it will be more than obvious things haven't changed one single bit at OBD. He is no better than Edwards, and may not even be as good as him, which is more than likey the case. At least Edwards has a decent attitude, that is more than what has been said about Smith in Baltimore. The new regime has been saying for months that they are going with what they have, to bring someone in at this point, would make it impossible to believe anything they say from here on out.
  24. I totally agree about Bledsoe. The only season we have been close to respectable over the past decade was with Bledsoe, and when it looked like the ship may have been righted with a 9-7 record, they dumped him?
