LT Marcus McNeill doesn't sign RFA tender
billsfreak replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow, If we are going to give up that much we should probably ask for Phillip Rivers too. -
Which Bills QB is most popular amongst fans right now?
billsfreak replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I totally agree with you, those so called fans that would cheer for anyone getting hurt, much less someone on your own team is about as low and classless as a human being can get. There have been several players over the years, in different sports who I could not stand, hoped they sucked, but never cheered for them to get hurt. Every time Dan Marino threw an interception, a part of me inside threw a party, but I never hoped he got hurt. There is no place for dumbasses like those people that cheered when Edwards got hurt or when Rob Johnson got hurt, and trust me, in my opinion the world would have been a better place if the Bills never traded for Johnson, but don't cheer him to get hurt. -
Marshawn to attend this week's OTAs
billsfreak replied to The_Philster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, some of his issues are: 1. He is a thug and can't stay out of trouble. Has no common sense when it comes to doing dumb things. 2. His play has declined the past few years. Mainly because of attitude, effort and last year-conditioning. 3. If he has no issue with this organization, why has he been in the same faciilty as the head coach and not even met him? 4. Seems like keeping up his street cred it more important to him than keeping up his reputation on the Bills and in the NFL. -

Neither are first or second rounders, and not just here in Buffalo. -

If not yet, then as soon as they find out he isn't a "fan" they will hate him for sure. -
From what I have been reading on the team's website and other places, Edwards and Fitz have been getting the majority of snaps with the first team during OTAs, so not sure how this would even be legit. I hope Gailey runs camp like he says he is going to with an open competition at QB. I hope Edwards plays like I think he can and wins the job, but for the sake of the team, I hope the QB who out performs the other 3 gets the starting job. I just want to "Win Baby!"

I really think that if Lynch gets dealt to the Seahawks at all it will be for that 4th round pick. At this point that is the best we are going to get for him, so in my opinion I say keep him. -
How badly do you hate the Patriots?
billsfreak replied to Hossage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure it is hate as much as jealousy and envy. They have been winning every year for a decade and we have been losing. Both franchises have been consistent, just at different ends of the spectrum. Do I hate them? Not too sure, do I hate the fact that they always win and we always lose-hell yeah! I guess being middle aged and a Bills fan for close to 40 years, if I have hate towards any team it would probably be Miami more so than New England, just because there were always the big rival. -

Out of the four choices, I had to choose Edwards, just because he has the best possibility of becoming a serviceable NFL quarterback. Not alot to choose from really, but he would be my choice because I am tired of losing and developing quarterbacks. -
Ravens SHOULD seek trade with Buffalo
billsfreak replied to sllib olaffub's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
WIth as many injuries as we have had in the defensive backfield that past few seasons, I wouldn't get rid of any of our depth, especially for another malcontent lineman who wants a big contract (we just dumped one of those this time last year). We had to go as far as having a linebacker move to DB becuase of injuries, and more injuries will probably happen (hopefully not as many), so we need to keep the depth that we have, we will need it. -

Maybe he has been watching the TV or reading the papers (or having someone read them to him), and realized that he is only hurting his chances of being traded by diminishing his value by acting like a stubborn ass. Maybe Momma called him, since when he was drafted that was the story of how he is a momma's boy, and told him to get his butt in there, because the Bills hold all the cards. Just how much he practices while he is in there, or if he even does show up to the actual practice is anyone's guess, but he probably will now since money in on the line. He obviously isn't the brightest bulb on the tree or he would have realized weeks ago he isn't making anything better by his actions, and if he came in with a new coaching staff and gave 100% he might actually get his job back. -
He has no leverage now because Lynch has little or no trade value. He lost any chance of getting a good return on Lynch when he turned down the Seahawks offer on draft weekend.
-
Now Vince Young is blaming it on his friend because he "talked him into going there." A 27 year old man?

I'm Tired of hearing about the JETS
billsfreak replied to Stussy109's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I for one think the Jets will have trouble getting all the aging and troublesome new players to gel as a team. There is no bigger team sport than football, and it is tough for any team with a bunch of new players to play together, much less when a good portion of them are coming from unhappy situations. -
I am not the one crying around here or being a coward. I don't think the Bills will be a very good team this year, that doesn't mean I won't root for them or hope they win, just a realist. You need to look in a mirror to find out the real moron in here, whoever you are?
-
That is pretty much what I said in my last post, but some people are bored around here.
-
And someone who would waste their time pointing something like that out is either an English Teacher or someone whose boyfriend is at work. A lot of internet muscles in here, bet most of you crawl up in a ball and cry if you ever had to have a conversation in person though.
-
Dude, you are the loud mouth coward whose bark is bigger than his bite. Mr. Internet muscles himself. I don't remember you ever telling me anything, and if you did, I probably don't give a crap about what you did. I never said I accepted an offer either, so get your facts straight asswipe. I am 14 hours away, not worth the drive to collect when I win, since that would be the only way to get my winnings. Do I think the Bills will suck and draft in the top ten, Yes. Do I hope they do, not in a million years, but I am a realist. Am I going to route against them in order to win money, No- I have never routed against the Bills. Get your facts straight before you let that runny excrement run from your piehole moron. You never called me out that I know of, no sheman has ever called me out, go look at the mirror, see if you can flex and see your internet muscles, or are they all in your mouth?

New QB possibility? Free agent to be
billsfreak replied to BoozeCruise's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thigpen and Stewart were never close to great quarterbacks, in fact Stewart had one or two capable years, and Thigpen not even that. Brady Quinn hasn't had a chance in the NFL, there is a better than average chance that he would turn out way better than anything on our roster. I would say, pick up Quinn, send Fitz packing somewhere (unemployment line most likely) and have Quinn and Edwards compete for the starting position. -

I would love to get Brady Quinn in Buffalo. I was disappointed when the whole world knew he was on the trading block and the Bills showed no interest. -
Josh Reed signs with the Chargers
billsfreak replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Me too, but there are alot of different things this off season with no agreement between the owners and players this year. There was talk of T.O. signing there, but I guess they thought Josh Reed was a less expensive insurance policy in case Vincent Jackson doesn't show up. -
I totally disagree, that way you are giving him exactly what he wants. Why should they trade him, get practically nothing because he has no real trade value with all his baggage? Compared to most NFL running backs, he is relatively cheap and signed for 3 more years. Let him B word and moan, when it comes time for mandatory practices, either he is there or he gets fined, and loses some of the salary he is due. He can be an extremely good running back if he gets the right attitude and gets in shape (last year he was a joke with his physical conditioning). Is there a better #3 back in the league? I say screw him, let him come in and restore his image, value and maybe at draft time next year the Bills can get something for him and he will get to go somewhere with a chance to start. I still say if he came in (the first big step) in shape, with a good attitude and busted his ass, he is still the best back on the roster, and could win his job back, but pulling the crap he is doing now isn't getting him any brownie points with the new coaching staff. The bottom line is, if the Bills had any interest in trading him then they blew it when Seattle offered a 3rd rounder, and they were demanding a 2nd-never gonna get it, in fact at this point, there is no way they get a 3rd round pick. I say keep the idiot (should be no surprise to anyone he IS an idiot), let him do his job, or he doesn't get paid-he has ZERO LEVERAGE agaisnt the Bills. The last regime caved in and traded fat ass Peters (glad they did, but should have gotten more), hopefully this regime won't do that. When he comes in maybe they can make him the gunner on the punt teams, let him earn his thugness paycheck.

The great Rob Johnson
billsfreak replied to bbillyfootballcoach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The saddest part was that we gave up a first round pick for him based on a one game performance. We got Rob Johnson and they Jags got Fred Taylor with our pick? Not one of the shiniest moments in Bills FO history. At least when they gave up a first for Bledsoe it was based on almost a decade of pretty good play. -
The great Rob Johnson
billsfreak replied to bbillyfootballcoach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would think so too, since Johnson had quite a bit more talent around him, and not just on offense either, one of the top defenses. Edwards might never turn out to be any good, but there is much more of a chance he will than Noodle Arm Fitz ever will. -

Stereoptyping an athlete from wherever they are from is just plain stupid. There are good and bad players from just about everywhere.
