From my years of watching this team, I'd bet you could come up with a similar list for any given week in the season. Lots of teams lose games. Nobody loses them quite like the Bills.

If this gains steam, it could become a huge distraction and derail any kind of hope this team had this year and going forward. How do people as stupid as this become billionaires?

I honestly don't get what people see in this guy. He's the definition of average. Singletary was miles better and even he wasn't a world beater.

Been saying it since the first KC playoff loss when he kept kicking field goals. McDermott is a dinosaur in the coaching world. On top of that, he has zero presence and is afraid of his own shadow. They should have gotten rid of him and promoted Daboll at the very least. Failing that, booting him this off season and hiring Ben Johnson would have been a big upgrade. And yes, the Bills are never winning it all with that feeble coward on the sidelines.

He needs Daboll. Or any other competent coach. He has all the talent in the world but he is not a disciplined player and I don't think he ever will be.

I thought this too and seems like the only explanation. As bad as NFL officiating is there's no way the refs are that incompetent to miss false starts all game so they gave him the equivalent of the "extra split second after the clock hits zero" delay of game penalty leniency.

I'm just curious as to how you and other fans like you continue to blame him when he's essentially running McDermott's defense. If you actually watched the end of that game, you'd see that it was McDermott running up and down the sidelines calling timeouts. It's just a ridiculous coping mechanism that you'd never ascribe to another team. If the Rams offense falls flat, nobody is going to blame the OC. Same in KC. And if the defense craps the bed for the Jets, I doubt they blame their coordinator. It's okay to say McDermott choked away that game and potentially a super bowl trophy. It doesn't make you a lesser fan.

Question for you as I've seen many fans parrot the same line. What makes you say that Frazier was the one responsible for the 13 seconds choke job?

You're right to be concerned about the direction the team is taking. Ignore the pompom waving crowd here. I'm not optimistic about their chances this year either. The roster has been going sideways at best for the last couple of years. The head coach is afraid of his own shadow at crunch time. And some key cogs on the defense are aging and/or coming back from injury. They haven't hit big on a draft pick since 2018. But they do have Allen and you always have a shot to win it all with him. The margin is getting thinner by the season though.

So if this is accurate, he was in on a potentially terrible backup qb but not on Josh Jones or Isaiah Simmons. Good stuff, Beane. Real finger on the pulse of the team here.

That is actually the opposite of what they should have done. They shouldn't have rushed anyone. Eleven guys drop back and the game is over. Simple situational football that McDermott totally botched.

I watched a few Philly games and the guy has all day to throw and goes through his reads so slowly. Eventually a receiver is wide open and he hits him. Also, he's the only qb that plays the game needing only 8 yards for a first down, as he has a guaranteed 2 yards every time he sneaks it before getting touched. Roseman has created an excellent team and coaching staff so it sounds ridiculous to criticize him for that contract they gave hurts, but I think they'll come to regret that. Give any of the top QBs that surrounding staff and talent, in that conference with that schedule and they'd go undefeated.
