  1. Perfectly said. If nothing else, mouth breathers like senator really make the rest of us feel like rhodes scholars in comparison. I'm actually surprised this clown even knows how to use a computer.
  2. ya, on second thought, you're probably right...can't really argue with that logic
  3. I agree. The guy's over the hill. Just like Pat Williams was when we showed him the door. Wonder what he's up to these days.
  4. The two most common critcisms are: 1. Evans can't get open 2. Evans can't run routes For both, I can safely say, none of you know what the hell you are talking about, but are just looking for a reason to blame him for a drop in production. You don't know what route he's supposed to run unless you know the plays beforehand, so cut the crap. And unless you are at the game, you don't know if he's open or not as cameras don't usually focus on receivers once the snap is made. The few games I have been to, even when he's double/triple-teamed, he is open, but doesn't get thrown to. This media-generated flavour of the year receiver nonsense has really gotten out of hand. This year Fitzgerald is the best, the year before Moss reclaimed the crown, a few years ago Steve Smith was the greatest. Funny how nobody talks about him much anymore. Did he all of a sudden become crap? No. He's still good but his QB is playing like crap right now. Other than Andre Johnson, I can't think of another star receiver who's been dealt with such a $hitty hand for so many years in regards to the offense around him. That's not an excuse for Lee, it's the truth. If I didn't love the Bills so much, I would love it if he got traded and got to play in a halfway competent offense with a decent QB. If he was one of those diva receivers who demanded the ball, then maybe we wouldn't hear things like "he's invisible" or "he's overpaid". You would think with the huge drop in Owens' production from last year, people would finally see that it's not Evans, it's the QB/scheme. Guess not though.
  5. He can only catch what's thrown to him (and for the most part, he usually does). The guy is an awesome player. Not his fault that the QB has no balls.
  6. Me too. I agree on both points also. He's a guy I really wish falls flat on his fat face (afternoon tongue twister), but I really wish he was coaching the Bills.
  7. I totally understand what you mean, and have thought this also. We can't really know for sure either way. But, it comes down to this: Has the following conversation taken place? Dickie J: Trent, if you don't throw the ball deep on this play and just check down again, I'm benching you, and making you attend bingo night with Ralph this week. Obviously that is in jest, but you get the drift. He hasn't forced Edwards to take chances. We know this as fact because Edwards hasn't taken chances. That is bad coaching in my books. Bad QB'ing also, but bad coaching nonetheless.
  8. Totally agree with you. I hated seeing that and it really was the icing on the $hitcake the Bills just served today. It's not right that fans are pissed after a game and the players aren't. Do you recall Peyton Manning laughing after a loss? I know people say these things don't matter, that we should just judge what the players do during the game, but I think this is part and parcel of what's wrong. He just doesn't seem like he hates losing enough.
  9. Seriously. I haven't heard of Payton making controversial statements (not that I follow that team), but this is rather embarrassing. I hate that the Bills are thought of this way, and have been for so long.
  10. Says the Bills' offense wouldn't have scored a touchdown if they had another 4 quarters. For a wimpy-looking guy, he sure does talk a lot. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writ...tml?eref=sihpT1
  11. what a great screen name! yours and "youbotymyboty" are 2 monikers i wish i had thought of first kudos
  12. I think he always looks like that. For all we know, he probably had just gotten laid.
  13. The lower the better. Last year (after the Chargers game I think) Vic Carucci put them at #4. I fell off my chair after seeing that, while the Bills fell down the standings.
  14. It's not their fault. The NFL regulates how much actual game action networks can show on their highlight shows on Sundays. I assume they just want more people watching the NFL Network.
  15. I have to disagree on Kelsay. He's been shyte as usual. Did you notice him bounce right off of Leftwich for a sure sack? The guy needs to be stapled to the bench asap.
  16. You're right San Jose Bills Fan (and kudos on the incredibly creative moniker). It wasn't funny because it wasn't true. I thought it was funny, regardless of the validity of it, but I now see the error of my ways. Oh, and apology accepted (on you being a dick and all).
  17. haha...well said Chimp! hopefully 'hugs and kisses' (Xavier Omon) can show he's not just a shaud williams clone for one week
  18. Let me preface this by saying that Edwards played a hell of a game (and I've been a supporter of his since that game-winning drive in Washington two years ago). But the only 'perfect' pass out of the 5 in question here was the one that went threw Owens' hands. The two to Evans didn't go as far as they should have (Evans made a great catch on the TD) and even the TD to Owens was slightly underthrown but he slowed down just a bit and shielded the ball from the defender (great play by T.O.). The interception you could tell was a throw he didn't step into and it sailed on him. Think he needs to trust Evans' speed a bit more.
  19. Why are you such a loser? You post more about Tom Brady and the Pats than anything or anyone else. It's quite clear that you are in love with the guy and are hating yourself for it and, as a result, are over-compensating with your lame nicknames. You remind me of Chris Cooper's character in American Beauty.
  20. I think the scribes are still trying to decipher what he said.
  21. If you look at the replay, he had three guys streaking down that sideline with one Patriot in front of them. Instead he pitches it to his left to Jackson. I know it happens fast, but NE really broke down in coverage on that play.
  22. haha....just searched for it online...gus johnson is great http://www.cbssports.com/video/player/play...pe0BzFGA3kmf__G love the awkward moment when stokley runs along the goal line to kill the clock...totally threw off gus' timing...lol
  23. Oh. My. God. If that isn't a microcosm on everything that's wrong with this franchise, then I don't know what is. What a joke.
  24. Top 2 so far...hahaha 2009 Bills: Lots of cap room for the capless 2010 2009 Bills: 2010 UFL runner-up!
