  1. I predicted 9-7 at the start of the year and I'm sticking with it. Plus, I don't believe that this team is done ripping our hearts out just yet. Anything less than 9-7 wouldn't give that faint glimmer of hope until the last week of the season where all we have to do is win and we're in....and then we lose on a last second field-goal(for either team). GO BILLS!!!!!
  2. This is absolutely true. Although last year was worse. Some of our best games last year were ones that we lost and even when they won I just didn't care. Other than the mistakes on monday it was a pretty good game, but the three before were real stinkers and it seams like we are slipping back into last years habit of trying to bore the opponent to victory.
  3. I gotta believe coaches already do this. I don't think he gave away anything.
  4. I don't think so. Other positions are more reactionary(DE) and therefore you can tell how good a guy is going to be a lot sooner. There is just so much more involved in being a QB that it takes longer to get it all. I'm not sure that my 20 game mark is fair or not it is just something I've used. And I wasn't down on JP until the Jax game in '06. I think it was about thirty games in.
  5. Luckily(I guess) Buffalo is kinda recession proof because it never enjoyed the economic upturn of the 90's. The rest of the country is just coming back down to where Buffalo has stayed for the last 20 years.
  6. I just can't believe that he wrote a post without mentioning "Los Gatos". Baby steps, crayonz, baby steps.
  7. plus greer, plus crowell, plus a couple more, plus I was only joking anyway. I actually agree. With only one real pass rusher this D would be really good.
  8. So you basically want just a whole new defense for it to be good.
  9. It just goes to show you how important takeaways are.
  10. My own personal philosophy has been that I always give a QB 20 games to make a decision about him. I figure 1 full year(16 games) of starts and then the beginning of the next year to work out the rest of the kinks, is enough time for them to figure out the game and who they are. Since I'm not counting the Arizona game, this is the last week that I will give Trent a pass as a QB learning the game. I will say that I have liked a lot of what I have seen so far, but I do think that the hit in Arizona has affected him and if he works through it he'll be good. I think it's going to be a very interesting rest of the season for us Bills fans.
  11. I agree. My friend got into a car accident and sufferred a concusion. He said even after six months he was having trouble with certain thought processes, and you would never know by talking to him that something was wrong. I know that they are all different, but it still could be effecting Trent. How else could he not see Evans open that many times.
  12. I love the eternal optimism of the Bills fan(some might call it psychosis). As long as they are all 1 o'clock, regional broadcasts only, we'll be fine.
  13. He was open all night. As good as the D played, they HAVE to start generating turnovers. If we get even 1 we have a better chance of winning that game.
  14. Almost as old as posts like this. If you can't write a post like this here, where can you? And it is a pretty valid point he is making. For all the talk of improvement and right on the heels of DJ being extended for another three years, to find ourselves in an eerily similar position as last year is a little surprising. The only thing that will make it better would be a win on Monday.
  15. If my uncle had a hoo-hoo he'd be my aunt.
  16. You remind me of a Canadian one dollar coin. Still a funny post, though.
